Recovered Firearm– 2000 block Lane – 10/28/16, 2:45 pm

Officers obtained a search warrant for the home of a suspect believed to be in possession of weapons. They responded to the home and conducted the search, though the suspect was not present. The officers seized a rifle barrel with trigger mechanism, multiple magazines loaded with various caliber bullets, as well as ammunition. An arrest warrant in this case is pending.  Shots Fired– 700 block Missouri – 10/28/16, 6:50 pm

Officers responded to a call of shots fired and met with a resident who told them that after hearing gunfire outside of her home, a bullet entered her residence through the front door and lodged in the hallway wall. The officers found multiple spent rounds outside of the residence. The officers searched the area for possible victims, suspects, and additional damage but were unable to locate any. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident, which is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160879254)

 Home Invasion Robbery – 400 block Bacon – 10/28/16, 7:15 pm

A 44 year old victim pulled his car into his garage and got out of the vehicle with the garage door still open. A suspect entered the garage and held a gun to the victim, shoving him to the ground. Three other suspects, all armed with weapons, also entered the garage. They demanded to know where the victim kept the money. The victim offered the money in his pocket which one suspect took while the others entered the main residence from the garage. The victim heard his 71 year old mother screaming from inside the house as the suspects had her get on the ground as well. The suspects then ran from the house and fled on foot. The officers secured the crime scene and all evidence. This incident is under investigation.   (SFPD Case No. 160879260)

 Robbery – 1400 block McKinnon – 10/29/16, 10:15 am

A 23 year old victim was standing outside of her car, speaking with her friend who was inside the vehicle when a suspect approached her and pulled her away. The suspect began striking the victim. The victim took out her phone and began recording the suspect, who snatched the phone away and hit her some more. Two additional suspects joined the first and they continued to beat the victim while she was on the ground. All three suspects then ran to a grey sedan and drove from the scene. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160880825)

 Robbery –Somerset / Bacon– 10/29/16, 9:30 pm

A 27 year old victim came to Bayview Station and reported that he had been robbed. He went on to say that he had been walking home while texting on his cell phone. He then put the phone in his pocket and looked up to find himself confronted by five suspects. The victim was pushed to the ground and punched multiple times by several of the suspects while one of them removed his cell phone from his pocket. The suspects then fled on foot. This incident is under investigation.  (SFPD Case No. 160864192)

Firearm Arrest– Bayshore / Bacon – 10/29/16, 11:30 pm

Officers stopped a car for a traffic violation and made contact with the driver and his passenger. As the driver reached into the center consul to pull out some paperwork, one of the officers noticed a glass jar of marijuana inside. Both occupants were removed from the vehicle as the officers conducted a search for additional drugs. The officers located a loaded 9mm pistol under the passenger seat. Both suspects, West Mob gang affiliates, were placed under arrest and were booked on weapons and narcotics charges. (SFPD Case No. 160882821)

 Firearm Arrest – Cameron / Nichols – 10/29/16, 9:50 am

Officers received a tip that a parolee who frequented the Alice Griffith Housing Development was in possession of a handgun. The officers responded to the area to search for the suspect, locating him loitering with a group of subjects. When the officers approached, the suspect took off running. The officers set up a perimeter and located the suspect hiding a construction truck. He was detained and the officers retraced his path. They located the handgun, a 40 caliber semi- auto loaded with an illegal extended magazine, discarded near a fence. The suspect was arrested and searched. A facemask was found in his possession. The suspect, a convicted felon prohibited from possessing weapons, was booked on the weapons and parole violations. (SFPD Case No. 160882586)

Robbery –3rd / Thomas – 10/31/16, 12:30 am

A 21 year old victim was walking home from a friend’s house when two female suspects approached him. One of the suspects sprayed him with pepper spray and demanded him phone. The victim handed over the phone and the second suspects riffled through his pockets, stealing his wallet. The suspects then fled on foot. This incident is under investigation.  (SFPD Case No. 160887558)

 Armed Robbery– 100 block Girard– 10/31/16, 10:00 pm

A 34 year old victim had just parked her car and was at the door of her residence when two masked suspects approached her. One of them was armed with a handgun which he pointed at her and ordered her not to scream. The suspects then robbed the victim of both bags that she had been holding. They then ran into a waiting black sedan which drove from the scene. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160888647)

 Homicide Attempt –1000 block Fitzgerald– 10/31/16, 9:15 pm

Officers responded to a shots fired call and located a terrified 22 year old victim who told them that he was the intended target of the shooting. He told the offices that he had just parked his car in the area and was about to visit some friends when a dark sedan pulled up and a suspect in a silver clown mask stepped out. The suspect was armed with a handgun and began shooting at the victim. The victim ducked and ran between some parked cars. He then heard the suspect get back in the car which drove from the scene. The victim was fortunately not hit by the gunfire and was uninjured. The officers found gunshot damage to a nearby building and spent casing in the street. They secured the crime scene and all evidence. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160888487)

Homicide Attempt –1100 block Palou Ave – 11/0 1/16, 9:15 pm

Officers responded to a shots fired call. Upon arrival, officers secured the scene, obtained witness statements, and recovered spent bullet casings. The 24 year old male victim walked into SFGH with a bullet wound for which he was treated. The victim told the responding officers that he was driving home when he heard gun fire and realized that he was hit. This incident is under investigation.
