Shooting– 6100 block 3rd – 10/21/16, 10:13 am

A 20 year old male victim was driving his car when a vehicle with three several suspects pulled up beside him. The suspects were armed and began shooting at the victim. The terrified victim drove his damaged vehicle to Bayview Station for help where it was discovered that he had been hit by the gunfire as well. He was immediately rendered aid and then transported to SFGH for treatment. This incident is under investigation.  (SFPD Case No. 160857539)

 Firearm, Narcotics Arrest– Oakdale / Mendell – 10/21/16, 3:20 pm

Officers received a tip regarding a local drug dealer selling heroin in the area of Mendell Plaza. He was described to the officers along with his vehicle and the officers began their investigation. They observed the suspect and his vehicle multiple times over several days at Mendell Plaza. At one point, when the suspect was parked in front of a school in the area, the officers approached him and could smell the strong acidic odor peculiar to heroin emanating from the passenger compartment of the car. They had the suspect step out of his car and in doing so, noticed a twist bag of heroin in the inner door handle well. The suspect was placed under arrest. A 9mm pistol, loaded with a high capacity magazine, was found in the center consul along with additional heroin, packaged for sale, a digital scale, and packaging equipment. The suspect was booked on multiple weapons and narcotics charges. (SFPD Case No. 160858571)

Aggravated Assault – unit block Dakota – 10/22/16, 6:30 am

Officers responded to a gas station on 3rd St regarding a call of an assault victim. They located a victim who was bleeding from a laceration to the back of his head. He told the officers that he had been visiting an ex-girlfriend and on leaving, was struck in the head with an object by a suspect that he believed to be her current boyfriend. The victim was transported to SFGH for treatment. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160860009)

Robbery – 1000 block Gilman – 10/23/16, 2:30 am

A 28 year old victim came to Bayview Station to report a robbery. He stated that he was walking to a relative’s home when he became surrounded by three suspects they dragged him into a parked vehicle where they proceeded to  rob him of his wallet and jewelry at knife point. The suspects then pushed the victim out of the car and drove from the scene. This incident is under investigation.  (SFPD Case No. 160862403)

 Narcotics Arrest –unit block Rosie Lee– 10/23/16, 7:00 pm

Officers responded to a call of a disturbance and found one of the parties involved to be in violation of a restraining order for which he was arrested. An arrest search revealed that the suspect was in possession of marijuana, methamphetamine, cocaine, and various pharmaceuticals all packaged for sale. He was booked on multiple narcotics related offenses.  (SFPD Case No. 160864192)

 Shots Fired– 1400 block Quesada – 10/24/16, 9:50 pm

Officers responded to a call of shots fired and found several spent shell casings in the street. They learned through their investigation that a suspect had fired a weapon from a dark SUV that immediately fled the scene. A damaged unattended vehicle was found parked in the area but no other damage or victims were located. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident, which is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160867641)

Shots Fired – unit block Garlington – 10/25/16, 12:50 am

Officers responded to a Shot-Spotter activation and located a parked and unattended vehicle that had been damaged by gunfire. Several spent casings were found in the street. The officers searched the area for additional damage, victims, and suspects but were unable to locate any.  No injuries were reported as a result of this incident, which is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160868019)

Aggravated Assault –Bancroft / Keith – 10/26/16, 3:40 pm

Officers responded on a call of an assault and located a 39 year old victim, with multiple injuries to his body, at the scene. He was immediately transported to SFGH for treatment while the officers conducted their investigation. They were able to locate surveillance cameras in the area that captured the beating that appeared to involve at least two suspects. They preserved the crime scene and all evidence. This incident is under investigation.(SFPD Case No. 160873068)

 Robbery– 900 block Minnesota – 10/26/16, 10:20 pm

A 36 year old victim was walking along when a suspect approached him and demanded his wallet. When the victim stated that he did not have one, the suspect demanded his phone. The victim refused and the suspect struck him in the head several times before stealing the victim’s backpack and the cell phone that the victim had dropped during the altercation. The suspect then fled on foot. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160874022)

 Robbery –200 block Quesada– 10/27/16, 7:35 pm

A 44 year old victim was entering her garage through the garage door when someone grabbed her by the neck. She turned to see that a suspect had followed her into the garage. The suspect grabbed her purse and yanked on it, forcefully pulling it from her shoulder. The suspect then ran out of the garage and into a waiting dark colored sedan which drove from the scene. This incident is under investigation.  (SFPD Case No. 160876476)
