Burglary Tools Arrest– Evans / Marin – 9/30/16, 7:30 pm

Officers stopped a motorcycle for a traffic violation and met with the driver. He did not have a valid license and had paper plates covering the assigned license plates of the scooter. The vehicle was not registered to him. The driver was arrested and found to be in possession of a shaved ignition key, commonly used in vehicle thefts and burglaries. He was cited for the offenses and released from the scene. (SFPD Case No. 160795779)

Auto Theft, Narcotics Arrest– unit block Bowman – 9/30/16, 5:00 pm

Officers responded to a call of two subjects sleeping inside of a vehicle. They located the car in question and learned through a record check that the car had been reported as stolen. They placed the suspect in the driver’s seat under arrest and detained his passenger. A search of the suspects revealed heroin and methamphetamine in their possession. The officers also found items in the vehicle that they believed to be stolen. The driver was booked on auto theft and narcotics charges and the passenger was cited and released from the scene.  Robbery –Silver / Ledyard – 10/1/16, 9:30 am

A 25 year old victim was walking along the street when two suspects jumped out from a position of concealment behind a tree and attacked him. One of the suspects was armed with a knife and both suspects punched and kicked the victim multiple times. The suspects robbed the victim of his wallet, jewelry, and shoes before fleeing on foot. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160799135)

 Firearm, Narcotics Arrest – Quint / Oakdale – 10/2/16, 3:20 am

Officers responded to the scene of a hit and run and obtained a description of the vehicle that left the scene. The car was spotted being driven nearby and when the officers began to follow the vehicle, it made several evasive maneuvers and the officers saw an item being tossed out of the window. The item turned out to be a loaded 9mm handgun. The vehicle was stopped a short time later and the driver and his occupant were arrested. The arrest search revealed that both were in possession of crack cocaine and marijuana. Both suspects, known gang members, were booked on numerous charges that included weapons violations, narcotics offenses and hit and run charges. (SFPD Case No. 160799793)

 Robbery Arrest – 3rd / Palou – 10/3/16, 6:00 pm

Officers located and arrested a suspect who was wanted in connection with an armed robbery and kidnapping that occurred on May 19, 2015 at a grocery store on the 3200 block of Folsom. The suspect had been identified by a Bayview inspector who put an APB out to the officers. The suspect was found strolling in the area and was taken into custody without incident. He was booked on numerous charges stemming from the original incident. (SFPD Case No. 150437862)

 Robbery –Bayshore / Waterloo – 10/5/16, 7:00 pm

A 25 year old victim was riding a MUNI bus when the coach made a stop. The victim had been standing near the back door of the bus and was assaulted from behind by three suspects, one of which stole the victim’s cell phone from out of her back pocket. The suspects then got off the bus and fled on foot. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160810979)

 Robbery Arrest – 100 block Brussels – 10/5/16, 9:30 pm

A 25 year old victim was approached by a suspect and ordered to surrender her wallet. The suspect pointed to a second suspect across the street, stating that the second suspect was armed and would shoot the victim if she did not comply. The victim, fearing for her safety, handed over her wallet. The suspect removed the money from the wallet and the ATM card then handed the wallet back to the victim. The suspect ordered the victim to divulge her PIN for the ASTM card under threat of retaliation if the PIN was incorrect. The victim provided the suspect with a fake PIN and the suspect walked off. The officers searched the area and located both suspects on the 2400 block of San Bruno. They were positively identified and placed under arrest. One of the suspects still had the victim’s property in her possession. Both 16 year old suspects were booked at the Juvenile Justice Center on robbery, possession of stolen property, and conspiracy charges. (SFPD Case No. 160811369)

 Aggravated Assault Arrest –3800 block 3rd – 10/6/16, 5:10 pm

Officers responded to an assault involving a knife that was occurring inside a coffee shop where they located a witness. The witness stated that the suspect had left and that the victim was still on scene, bleeding from a cut to the face. The witness stated that she had broken up the fight and disarmed the suspect the before she ran from the premises. The officers located the victim who reported that she had been pepper sprayed during the incident as well. She knew her attacker and provided the officers with her identifying information. The officers located the suspect nearby and placed her under arrest after she was positively identified. She was booked on aggravated assault with a knife, among other charges.
