Robbery – San Bruno / Bacon – 9/13/16, 12:20 am

A 25 year old victim was walking along the street when a suspect approached him, grabbed him, and shoved him against a building. The suspect punched the victim and demanded money. The victim handed over his cash as well as a set of portable speakers that he had. The subject then fled on foot. This incident is under investigation.  (SFPD Case No. 160742366)

 Hot Prowl Burglary Arrest– 1700 block Newcomb – 9/15/16, 4:00 am

Officer responded to a call of a suspect breaking into a residence through the front door. There was a resident inside who was terrified as she called for help. Officers arrived and located the suspect still on the scene where they promptly arrested him. Residents of the building had told the officers that the suspect started out ringing the doorbell and demanding entry. When nobody opened the door, he began to break it down. The suspect was identified by the residents of the building and was booked on hot prowl burglary charges.  (SFPD Case No. 160748524)

Auto Theft Arrest– Silver / Bayshore – 9/15/16, 9:20 pm

Officers on patrol attempted to stop a vehicle for a traffic violation and discovered during a record check that the car had been reported stolen. The suspect did not initially pulled over when the officers activated their light bar but eventually complied and was taken into custody with no further incident. He was booked on auto theft and possession of stolen property charges. (SFPD Case No. 160750999)

 Robbery Arrest –unit block Cashmere – 9/16/16, 3:20 pm

Officers patrolling the area spotted a subject walking along the street who they immediately recognized from a crime bulletin as wanted in connection with a robbery that occurred on August 11th. The subject had been identified as one of the four perpetrators of the crime. The officers took the juvenile suspect into custody and booked him at the Juvenile Justice Center on robbery and conspiracy charges.  (SFPD Case No. 160646495)

 Firearm Arrest – unit block Cashmere – 9/16/16, 7:11 pm

Officers patrolling in the area turned a corner and saw two subjects standing on the sidewalk. On seeing the unit, one of the subjects broke into a run while holding on to his waistband. The officers got out of the car and gave chase. The suspect ran up a set of stairs but when he could not make entry into the apartment, walked back down the stairs and was detained. The officers traced his path and found the loaded .32 caliber pistol with an obliterated serial number, that he had discarded as he ran, on the ground. The suspect was booked on weapons violation charges.(SFPD Case No. 160753357)

 Auto Boost, Robbery Attempt –1600 block Oakdale – 9/18/16, 6:25 am

A 39 year old victim came home to find a suspect seated inside her car that was parked in the driveway. She looked in and saw that he was busy dismantling her car stereo. The victim confronted the suspect who promptly exited the vehicle and shoved her to the ground before fleeing on foot. This incident is under investigation.  (SFPD Case No. 160757224)

 Robbery –Ingalls / Gilman – 9/18/16, 6:30 pm

A 49 year old victim had been waiting for the bus when a suspect approached her from behind and grabbed the handbag that she had slung over her shoulder. The suspect hit the victim in the chest, causing her to fall to the sidewalk. He then fled on foot. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160757268)

Armed Robbery –West Point / Middle Point – 9/18/16, 5:30 pm

A 57 year old victim came to Bayview Station and reported that he had been robbed while sitting in his parked car. The victim stated that three suspects walked up to his car. One of them produces a handgun which he pointed at the victim The suspect demanded all of his property The victim handed over his wallet out of fear for his life at which point all there suspect fled on foot. This incident is under investigation.  (SFPD Case No. 160758783)

 Robbery Arrest –20th / Minnesota – 9/18/16, 7:00 pm

Officers responded to a call of a subject lying in the street and located a 27 year old subject. They were able to rouse him and he told them that he had been the victim of a robbery. The victim stated that he and the suspect, an acquaintance, had been discussing selling drugs when the suspect punched him in the face and stole his crack cocaine and methamphetamine. The victim stated that he wandered around for a couple of hours after the robbery before falling asleep in the street where the officers found him. The incident is under investigation.  (SFPD Case No. 160759151)

 Firearm Arrest –1500 block Wallace – 9/16/16, 3:20 pm

Officers responded to a ShotSpotter activation in the area and located two subjects. One was inside a truck and the other was standing beside it. The officers approached to speak with the subjects at which point one of the officers noticed handgun on the ground just under the truck’s door. One of the subjects admitted to having fired the gun and was placed under arrest. He was booked on weapons violations.   (SFPD Case No. 160646495)

Firearm Arrest –unit block Cashmere – 9/16/16, 3:20 pm

Officers concluded an investigation into a suspect believed to be in possession of a firearm and obtained a search warrant fior4 his person and residence. They responded to the home and detained the suspect outside. A search of his residence yielded a 9mm semi automatic handgun with a high capacity magazine. The suspect, a convinced felon prohibited from possessing weapons, was booked on multiple gun related charges.  (SFPD Case No. 160646495)
