The August 2nd National Night Out (5pm- 10pm @ 3rd / Armstrong) will take the place of the August 2nd Community meeting

 

Carjacking – Executive Park / Blanken – 7/22/16, 7:06 pm

A 22 year old victim was in the driver’s seat of his parked vehicle and was getting ready to drive away with his three passengers (ages 18- 34) when a grey Toyota Camry pulled up beside him and prevented him from pulling out into a lane of traffic. The driver of the suspect vehicle remained in the car as his three occupants got out. Two of them were armed with handguns. They ordered the victim’s out of their vehicle and told them to give up their phones and other property. All four victims complied and handed over their phones and wallets after getting out of the car. Two of the suspects got into the victim’s vehicle and drove from the scene. The third suspect got back into the suspect vehicle and drove away as well. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160591947)

 Firearm Arrest – unit block Watchman – 7/24/16, 1:30 am

Officers responded to a call of a threats call and learned from the victim that the suspect had threatened to shoot her and the threat was believed to have been credible as the suspect was in possession of a gun. The officer’s investigation led them to a nearby home where they found the suspect. The officers obtained a search warrant for the residence and during the course of the search, located a loaded .357 pistol along with multiple rounds of ammunition. The suspect, a convicted felon prohibited from possessing any weapons was booked on multiple charges, including weapons violations. (SFPD Case No. 160595284)

 Aggravated Assault – 2300 block San Bruno– 7/24/16, 5:00 pm

A 38 year old victim was walking in the area when he was approached by two suspects who he was familiar with and had an argument with earlier. One of the suspects struck the victim in the head with a rock. The victim took off running and the suspects gave chase. They caught up to him several blocks away and proceeded to beat him with a stick before fleeing the scene on foot. The victim managed to get to Bayview Station where he was rendered aide and then transported to St. Luke’s Hospital for treatment. The suspects were identified to the best of the victim’s ability. This incidenr tis under investigation with arrest warrants pending. (SFPD Case No. 160596856)

 Aggravated Assault – unit block Northridge – 7/24/16, 9:30 pm

A 27 year old victim was walking to a friend’s house when he passed three subjects on the street. As he walked by, he heard a popping sound and felt a sharp pain to his ear. He turned to see the tree suspects running away and laughing. Two of them had BB guns in their hands. The victim had swelling to his ear where he was hit by the BB pellet. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160598636)

 Firearm Arrests – 300 block Bayshore – 7/25/16, 12:00 am

Officers responded to the 300 block of Bayshore on a call of a subject brandishing a gun. A vehicle and suspect description was provided. The responding officers spotted the car driving in the area of Oakdale and Industrial and conducted a traffic stop, detaining both driver and passenger. The officers saw the butt of a handgun on the floorboard sticking out of a Jack in the Box paper bag. They recovered the loaded .40 caliber pistol which had an obliterated serial number. Both subjects were arrested. The officers obtained a search warrant for the suspect’s home on the 1400 block of Newcomb. A search of the residence revealed an additional loaded .40 caliber handgun as well as ammunition and magazines. Both suspects were booked on multiple weapon related charges. Bayview Station holds community meetings with the Captain on the first Tuesday of each month. National Night Out (3rd/Armstrong) will take place of the August 2nd meeting

The next Community meeting will be at 6PM on  Tues, September 6th
