Operation Genesis is a non-profit organization founded by SFPD Bayview Station’s own Officer Jason Johnson.  Through this Organization, Officer Johnson and a team of chaperones took 12 students from the Bayview/Hunters Point area to West Africa in March. During this trip, the students explored and experienced first-hand the Ghanaian culture which included:  food tasting, going to historical museums, dancing with the natives, visiting local villages and supplying school supplies to students.   This all-expense paid, 9 day trip to Ghana, Africa, was a forever life-changing experience for the students that participated.
