Narcotics Arrest– Oakdale / Mendell – 3/29/16, 1:00 am

Officers conducting a narcotics abatement operation in the area witnessed a hand to hand drug transaction. A subject walked up to the suspect and handed him some money. He then held out his palm and the suspect placed a small plastic baggie into it. The two parted ways and were both detained. The item that was sold to the “buyer” was marijuana. He was cited and released from the scene. The seller was arrested and marijuana, heroin, ecstasy, and cocaine were found in his possession. He was booked on narcotics sales charges.  Attempted Armed Robbery – 400 block Tocoloma – 3/29/16, 1:00 pm

A 20 year old victim was sitting in his parked vehicle, using his phone, when three suspects approached his car. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at him while another kicked out the passenger window. The terrified victim turned on his car and sped from the scene, leaving the suspects behind. He stated that he heard gunfire ring out but was not hit. He reported the incident on the following day. (SFPD Case No. 160261645)



Robbery – Paul / Bayshore – 4/1/16, 7:20 pm

A 28 year old victim was walking down the street when a dark sedan pulled along-side of him. The car contained several occupants, one of which leaned out of the window and asked the victim what he “claimed” (meaning what his gang affiliation was). The victim replied that he did not know what the suspect was talking about. The suspect got out of the car. One was armed with a bat that he used to strike the victim, causing him to fall. Another suspect punched the victim while a third removed his wallet from his pants. The suspects then got back into the vehicle and drove from the scene. This incident is under investigation.  Aggravated Assault – Keith / Quesada – 4/2/16, 3:30 am

A 39 year old victim was walking on the sidewalk when he suffered a blow t the head from behind that caused him to fall. He said that three suspects then ran past him and turned northbound onto Keith. He did not know why he was attacked but was able to confirm that he had not been robbed of any belongings. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160270787)


Firearm, Stolen Property Arrest – Felton / San Bruno – 4/4/16, 4:00 pm

A victim contacted Bayview after his car was burglarized in San Jose and he was contacted by a subject who offered to sell some of his stolen property back to him. An officer contacted the suspect, pretending to be the victim, and agreed to meet in the Bayview to purchase back the stolen items for $1,500. The suspect then contacted him and told him to meet her in the area of Felton and San Bruno, behind an auto parts store to conclude the transaction. He was told that the items would be in a green bag behind a tree. He was to retrieve the items and place the money in the bag and then leave the area. The officer collected the items from the green bag which were in fact documents belonging to the victim. He then left the area and a surveillance team set up to watch the bag. A short while later, a car pulled into the lot with a male driver and a female passenger. The driver got out and retrieved the bag from behind the tree. Both suspects were then taken into custody. A loaded handgun was found inside the suspects’ vehicle. Both suspects were booked on weapons, possession of stolen property, and conspiracy charges. (SFPD Case No. 160277642)


 Robbery – 3rd / Palou – 4/4/16, 7:00 pm

A 2 year old victim was walking along the street when a car containing five suspects pulled up beside him. One of the suspects ordered the victim not to move as two of them got out. The victim was punched in the face and had his headphones and jacket stolen by the two suspects who then got back into the vehicle that drove from the scene. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160278327)


 Homicide – 1500 block Silver – 4/4/16, 9:10 pm

Officers responded to a call of a shooting and located a 19 year old male gunshot victim in the middle of the street. He was rendered aid immediately and transported to SFGH where he was unfortunately pronounced dead. The officers secured the crime scene and preserved all evidence. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160278587)
