Recovered Firearms – 1000 block Tennessee – 2/9/16, 10:15 am

A resident came to the station and surrendered two guns, a 9mm pistol and a 40 caliber handgun, to the officer at the front desk reporting that the guns were found on the 1000 block of Tennessee. One of the guns was reported as stolen out of LA County. An investigation into the guns’ use in any crime is ongoing. (SFPD Case No. 160118080)

 Robbery Arrest– Earl / Kirkwood – 2/9/16, 8:25 pm

A 23 year old victim was asleep on a MUNI coach when he awoke to a suspect going through his pockets. The victim attempted to fight the suspects off at which point the suspect punched him in the face several times before running off the bus. The officers collected video evidence from the MUNI coach and were able to identify the suspect. He was spotted on 2/12/16 on the 700 block of Kirkwood where he was arrested and subsequently booked on robbery attempt and aggravated assault charges.  (SFPD Case No. 160119771)

 Auto Theft Arrest – Cameron / Nichols – 2/11/16, 8:40 pm

Officers patrolling in the area conducted a record check of a car driving towards them and discovered that it had been reported as stolen. Despite an initial effort to flee the scene, the driver ended up complying with the officers’ demands to pull the car over. The 16 year old suspects was arrested and released to his parent with a pending court appearance. (SFPD Case No. 160125916)

Robbery – Ingalls / Kiska – 2/12/16, 5:40 pm

A victim reported that his cell phone was stolen after he got off a bus. The suspect, a fellow passenger, followed the victim off. The victim said he removed his phone from his pocket when it started to ring at which point the suspect punched him in the stomach and grabbed the phone as the victim was doubled over. The suspect then fled on foot. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160128534)

Shooting – LaSalle / Mendell – 2/13/16, 8:40 pm

Officers responded on a call of a shooting and located two gunshot victims at the scene. A witness stated that his companions, three male victims, had been shot after hearing gunfire in the street. The officers found the 19 year old victim who had a gunshot wound to the hip and a 20 year old victim with a gunshot wound to the abdomen. Both were transported to SFGH for treatment. The third gunshot victim, a 25 year old male who had a wound to his head, had been driven to SFGH by friends. The officers secured the crime scene and preserved all evidence and witness statements. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160131678)

Robbery– 1500 block Shafter – 2/14/16, 6:00 am

A 37 year old victim was crossing the street when she observed a white Honda drive alongside her. One of the suspects got out of the car and pointed a revolver at her, demanding her bag. The suspect then forcefully yanked the victim’s purse from her shoulder and got back in the vehicle which then drove from the scene. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160132450)

Robbery– Gould / Salinas – 2/14/16, 4:20 pm

A 42 year old victim was walking on the sidewalk when she was approached by three suspects. The suspects attacked her and pulled at her purse until she could not help but relinquish her grasp on it. The suspects then ran off and got into a waiting Honda which drove from the scene. The victim was treated for the injuries she obtained as a result of the assault at a local hospital. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160133533)

Aggravated Assault Arrest – 900 block Bayshore – 2/15/16, 6:25 pm

Officers patrolling the area spotted a subject stopped on a motorcycle in the gas station. The dirt bike was not outfitted with the proper equipment for street driving and the subject was believed to be part of a large group of dirt bikers who have been riding en-mass throughout the Bayview and Southern Districts with complete disregard for traffic laws and pedestrians. When the officers approached the driver on foot, he immediately jumped on the bike and revved the engine. He then drove the motorcycle directly at one of the officers in an attempt to run him down. The officer was able to sidestep at the last moment and grab onto the suspects backpack. This caused the suspect to lose his balance and fall along with the motorbike. He was taken into custody after a struggle with both officers. He was booked on aggravated assault among other charges. (SFPD Case No. 160136509)

Aggravated Assault Arrest – Cashmere / Hudson – 2/15/16, 7:00 pm

Officers responded to a call of an assault in which a 29 year old victim was jumped by six suspects while walking down the street. The victim suffered a laceration to the back of the bead and other injuries as a result of the attack. The officers were able to locate a suspect who was positively identified by the victim. He was arrested on aggravated assault charges. The search for the additional suspects, who had fled the scene prior to police arrival, is ongoing. This incident is still under investigation.(SFPD Case No. 160136628)

Recovered Gun – Thomas / Griffith – 2/15/16, 8:15 pm

A confidential informant led officers to the recovery of a firearm at Thomas and Griffith. The officers seized the 9mm assault weapon and booked it into evidence pending an investigation into its possible use in any criminal activity. (SFPD Case No. 160136775)
