 Armed Robbery – Palou / Ingalls – 2/2/16, 12:00 am

A 51 year old victim was walking along the street when he was approached by a suspect who was brandishing a handgun. The suspect pointed the gun at the victim and demanded his money. The victim, in fear for his life, surrendered his wallet. The suspect then fled on foot. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160106308)

 Narcotics – Quesada / Crisp – 2/5/16, 7:45 am

Officers spotted a vehicle that matched the description of a car used in a burglary on the previous night where two suspects were involved. They approached the idling sedan and found the driver and passenger asleep inside. They also noticed an open twist of heroine sitting on top of a cell phone case on the center consul. The driver was arrested and his passenger, who had a warrant for his arrest was also arrested. The officers located $1000 of counterfeit currency inside the driver’s wallet, which the driver admitted to having purchased for $200. Both suspects were booked on their respective offenses with the burglary charges pending. (SFPD Case No. 160105582)

Narcotics Arrest – 1200 block Fitzgerald – 2/5/16, 4:00 pm

Officers patrolling in the area happened upon a drug transaction in progress. They immediately detained the two subjects and quickly determined who the dealer and buyer were. Both were placed under arrest. The dealer was on active probation for narcotics and was found to be in possession of a large amount of currency. His stash of heroin bindles was found concealed in the tire well of the car he had been standing next to. Both suspects were booked on their respective charges which included heroin for sale, probation violation, and an arrest warrant. (SFPD Case No. 160107061)

Shots Fired– 1100 block Quesada – 2/5/16, 10:50 pm

Officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area and located several spent casings in the street. They searched the area for any possible victims, damage and suspects but were unable to locate any that night. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160108122)

Armed Robbery– 1100 block Palou – 2/6/16, 5:00 am

A 37 year old victim had just walked out of his home when he was approached by a suspect who pointed a handgun at him. The suspect demanded the victim’s property. The victim surrendered his jewelry and cell phone to the suspect who then fled on foot. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160108837)

Robbery – Kirkwood / Mendell – 2/7/16, 3:00 am

A 37 year old victim was robbed after accepting a ride from a woman near a downtown nightclub who invited him to “party” with her. The victim agreed to go with the suspect and put his bike and backpack into the back of her truck. The suspect then drove the victim to the intersection of Kirkwood and Mendell where another suspect suddenly swung the passenger door open from outside, punched the victim, and dragged him out of the vehicle. Two additional suspects joined in, punching and kicking the victim. The suspects then got into the truck with the female driver which drove from the scene with the victim’s property still inside. Aggravated Assault Arrest– 1500 block Oakdale – 2/7/16, 3:00 pm

Officers responded to a call of an assault and located a 40 year old victim outside of the residence with a serious laceration to his head. He stated that he had been attacked by a suspect with a knife. The officers’ investigation led them to the suspect who was inside the residence. He was placed under arrest and booked on aggravated assault and mayhem charges. The victim was transported to SFGH where he was treated for his injuries. (SFPD Case No. 160112559)

Robbery – 800 block Ingerson – 2/8/16, 12:10 am

A 34 year old victim heard noises outside of his home and looked out of his window to see three suspects removing tools from his brother’s parked truck. He went outside to confront the suspects. One of the suspects pointed a handgun at the victim and told him to remain still as they finished burglarizing the parked car. All three suspects then got into a silver Buick Regal and drove from the scene. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160113739)

Firearm Arrest – 100 block Kiska – 2/8/16, 6:20 pm

Officers patrolling in the area spotted a subject walking who they recognized from previous contacts. They shined a light on the subject who turned to look at them with a shocked expression, grabbed onto his waistband, and began running. The officers, believing that the suspect was armed with a weapon, gave chase. During the foot pursuit, the suspect removed a handgun from his waistband and threw it to the ground. He was apprehended shortly after and the 9mm pistol was recovered. The suspect, a convicted felon prohibited from possession weapons, was arrested and booked on weapons related charges. Robbery – Kirkwood / Mendell – 2/7/16, 3:00 am

A 36 year old victim was robbed after he got off the bus and was followed by two fellow passengers who got off behind him. One of the suspects had asked to use his cell phone and when he replied, “No”, the suspects forced the phone away from him along with an iPad that he had been holding. The suspect fled on foot. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160111410)

Shooting – unit block Dakota – 2/9/16, 12:15 am

Officers responded on a call of a shooting and located a 25 year old male victim walking in the street. He was bleeding from a gunshot wound to his torso. The officers rendered aid and had the victim transported to SFGH for treatment. The officers located and secured all evidence along with witness statements. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160117076)
