Aggravated Assault – Fitzgerald / Cameron – 1/22/16, 9:40 pm

A 42 year old vic5tim was assaulted by five suspects while walking to her house. She told the responding officers that the suspects approached her from behind and one of them sprayed her with pepper spray before all of the other female suspects “jumped her”. The suspect then fled the scene. The victim was treated for her injuries at SFGH. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160063764)


Narcotics Arrest– 1400 block Mendell – 1/23/16, 10:30 am

Officers patrolling the area spotted a subject inside the Mendell Plaza who was drinking from a container of alcohol. A record check revealed that the suspect had several outstanding warrants of his arrest. He was taken into custody upon which a search of his person was conducted. The officers located heroin in his possession. The suspect was booked on several charges including narcotics violations. (SFPD Case No. 160064803)


Shooting– 100 block Harbor – 1/23/16, 2:27 pm

Officers responded to a call of a shooting and located a 27 year old male victim with a gunshot wound to the abdomen lying on the ground. The officers rendered aid and had the victim transported to SFGH where he was treated for his injuries. The scene was secured and all evidence was preserved. This incident is under investigation. Trespassing Arrest– 1300 block Minnesota – 1/23/16, 3:00 pm

Officers responded to a call from a concerned tenant who had spotted a subject exiting the garage of the victim’s residence. The subject did not live in the building and the resident was concerned that the suspect may have been a burglar. The officers located the suspect at Pennsylvania and Cesar Chavez and she was positively identified. The suspect had an outstanding warrant for her arrest. She was booked on trespassing charges and the warrant. (SFPD Case No. 160065851)


US Marshalls Warrant Arrest– 1700 block Oakdale – 1/23/16, 5:50 pm

Officers responded to a call for service and during the course of their investigation, determined that one of the parties involved had an outstanding US Marshalls no bail warrant for his arrest. He was arrested and booked. (SFPD Case No. 160066304)


Auto Burglary Arrest– 25th / Littlefield – 1/23/16, 9:57 pm

Officers responded to a call of a fight between two subjects and quickly determined that one of the subjects was a victim of a car burglary that had caught the thief in the act and was detaining him. The victim explained that he spotted the suspect inside his car when he returned to it after parking and locking it on the street. The suspect had shattered the glass of the victim’s vehicle to get inside. He was placed under arrest. The officers found numerous items of stolen property in the suspect’s possession that belonged to the victim. As they were investigating, the officers were approached by another victim who told them that her car had also been broken into just down the street. She described the items stolen from her vehicle and the officers immediately recognized that the same items had also been found in the bag that the suspect had in his possession. The suspect was booked on multiple auto burglary counts as well as multiple charges of possession of stolen property. (SFPD Case No. 160067017)


Parolee at Large Arrest– 1900 block 25th – 1/23/16, 10:00 pm

Officers patrolling the area spotted a suspect that they recognized and knew to be on active parole. They conducted a record check which revealed that the suspect was a parolee at large and had an active no bail parole violation warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody and booked. Aggravated Assault– 2400 block San Bruno – 1/24/16, 12:50 am

Officers spotted a subject with visible injuries to his face stumbling down the block on the 1800 block of Donner and immediately stopped to assist. The victim had suffered serious injuries and was rendered aid and transported to SFGH for treatment. The officers located witnesses and were able to that the victim had been in an altercation with two suspects after leaving a bar on the 2400 block of San Bruno. This incident is under investigation (SFPD Case No. 160067374)


Auto Theft Arrest– 1400 block Mendell – 1/23/16, 10:30 am

Officers spotted a car parked on the sidewalk and drove up behind it to run the plate. The suspect seated in the driver’s seat backed up the vehicle, got out and tried to flee. The officers were able to prevent his escape and learned that the vehicle had been reported a stolen. The suspect was arrested and booked on auto theft and possession of stolen property charges. Firearm Arrest– Palou / Ingalls – 1/24/16, 2:50 pm

Officers on patrol were driving behind a bus that stopped to let off passengers. They watched as a subject got off the bus and lifted his sweatshirt to adjust the gun he had concealed in his in his waistband. On seeing the pistol, the officers immediately got out of their car and gave the suspect orders to halt, which he promptly ignored and took off running. They gave chase and soon caught up to him, taking him into custody. The loaded 9mm handgun was recovered from the ground where the suspect had attempted to ditch it. The suspect, already on felony probation that prohibits him from possessing weapons, was booked on multiple weapons and probation violation charges. (SFPD Case No. 160068667)


Narcotics Arrest– 3rd / Quesada – 1/25/16, 9:50 am

Officers patrolling in the area of the 1700 block of Quesada, in response to the numerous complaints from residents and business owners regarding rampant narcotics activity, attempted to cite a double parked vehicle. The driver took off at a high rate of speed and turned the corner and stopped. The officers drove after it and the car accelerated, driving off while running a stop sign. The officers followed and watched as the car sped off past the speed limit of the residential neighborhood street. The driver finally stopped and was taken into custody for reckless driving. The officers found nearly 50 grams of marijuana in the car as well as several thousand dollars in cash. The suspect was booked for the traffic arrest as well as for transporting marijuana for the purpose of sales. (SFPD Case No. 160070662)


Robbery– 1500 block Innes – 1/25/16, 11:25 pm

Two victims, ages 48 and 51, were walking in the area when a suspect attacked them. He punched one f the victims multiple times, causing her to fall. He then removed money from her pockets and her watch from her wrist. He then went though the second victim’s pockets, removing her money as well, before fleeing the scene on foot. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160072925)


Burglary Arrest– 200 block Hunters Point – 1/25/16, 11:20 pm

Officers responded to a building at the Hunters Point Shipyard on a call of a burglary alarm. They found that the front door glass had been broken and the hole in the door was large enough for a person to fit through. A K9 unit responded and the dog conducted a building search with its handler. The suspect was located hiding in an office. He was taken into custody. The suspect, a parolee, was booed on burglary, vandalism, among other charges. (SFPD Case No. 160073014)


Robbery Arrests – San Bruno / Paul – 1/26/16, 7:50 pm

Officers responded to a call of a robbery where tree suspects attacked a victim and stole his backpack. White driving to the scene, the officers spotted three subjects who matched the broadcast description walking near San Bruno and Bacon. They detained them. As they were conducting their investigation, the victim of the robbery ran up to them, pointed at the suspects and identified them as the individuals that had robbed him. All three suspects were arrested and booked on robbery charges. (SFPD Case No. 160075543)


Shots Fired– Thomas / Lane – 1/26/16, 5:08 pm

Officers responded to a “ShotSpotter” activation and found several spent rounds in the street. They interviewed witnesses who described the vehicle involved. The officers searched the area of possible victims, suspects, and damage but were unable to locate any that day. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160074959)


Burglary Tools, Stolen Property Arrest– Donahue / Innes – 1/27/16, 3:30 am

Officers stopped a motorcyclist and her passenger for a traffic violation. They determined that her license was not valid and that he had a court mandated search condition as a result of her probation status. A search of her messenger bag revealed burglary tools and items that had been stolen from a recent burglary at the naval shipyard. She was placed under arrest and booked on possession of burglary tools and stolen property as well as a probation violation. (SFPD Case No. 160076284)


Hot Prowl Burglary– 1100 block Palou – 1/27/16, 8:30 pm

A resident of a home was awoken to the sound of glass breaking. She then heard footsteps going up and down the stairs inside her home. She cracked the bedroom door open and observed a suspect running down the staircase. The suspect then fled the house. The owner was unable to immediately determine what, if anything had been stolen. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 160078951)


Auto Theft Arrest– unit block Ceres – 1/28/16, 11:57 am

Officers stopped a car for a traffic violation. Prior to pulling over, the driver threw a handful of mail out of the window. She was confrontational with the officers and attempted to delay the investigation. The items that she had tossed out did not belong to her and were determined to have been stolen. The officers also learned that the rental car the suspect was driving had been stolen and had yet to be reported as such. The suspect was placed under arrest. Inside the car with the front seat passenger, the officers found additional stolen property including bank credit and debit cards. The passenger was also arrested. Both suspects were booked on multiple charges including auto theft and possession of stolen property. (SFPD Case No. 160081001)
