Robbery– Hudson / 3rd – 12/17/15, 2:00 am

A victim was walking home when he was surrounded by six suspects, several of which were armed with what appeared to be box cutters. The suspects ordered that the victim surrender his property. One of the suspects grabbed the bag that the victim was holding that contained his set of chef’s knives. The suspects all fled on foot. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 151088945)

Robbery– Silver / San Bruno – 12/19/15, 12:00 pm

A victim was driving her car when she felt another vehicle bump hers from behind. That vehicle then pulled up beside her and the occupants began yelling at her. The victim pulled over to access the damage at which point both occupants of the other vehicle attacked her while she was still in the driver’s seat and attempted to pull her from the car, unsuccessfully. During the altercation, one of the suspects reached into the victim’s vehicle and stole her purse and shopping bag. Both suspects then got back into their car and drove from the scene. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 151093916)

Robbery – University / Olmstead – 12/19/15, 6:45 pm

A victim was walking home while looking at his iPhone when he became startled by the sound of screeching tires. The victim looked up and saw a vehicle stop beside him and two suspects get out. One of the suspects asked him what he had in his pockets. The victim raised his arms out of fright and the suspect went through his pockets, finding nothing. The suspect then snatched the victim’s cell phone. Both suspects got back into their white sedan and drove from the scene. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 151095047)

Firearm Arrest – unit block Lucy – 12/20/15, 11:20 am

After an investigation into illegal activity perpetrated by a local resident, officers were able to obtain a search warrant for the subject of the investigation along with his residence on the unit block of Lucy. The officers responded to the location where they detained the suspect and served the warrant. Inside the home, the officers located and seized a rifle, rifle magazines, a .40 caliber handgun, ammunition in various calibers, a large amount of money, and a ski mask. The suspect, a convicted felon prohibited from possessing weapons, was booked on numerous charges including weapons violations. (SFPD Case No. 151096396)

Armed Robbery Attempt – 200 block Bayshore – 12/21/15, 3:00 am

Officers responded to a fast food restaurant on a report of a robbery. They met with an employee who told them that while in the process of closing the facility he looked at his surveillance camera feed and spotted a masked suspect outside of the drive-thru window holding a firearm. He realized that although the drive –thru window was locked, the backdoor was still open and ran over to close it. After doing so, he walked back to the security monitor and watched the suspect walk to the back door, trying it. After finding it locked, the suspect walked to a white sedan and got in. The car, which had three other subjects inside, drove away from the scene. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 151098427)

Recovered Firearm – unit block Nichols – 12/21/15, 3:03 pm

Officers responded to a home on the unit block of Nichols to serve a search warrant. A revolver was located in the residence. A record check revealed that the gun had been reported as stolen 19 years earlier in Sacramento. The weapon was seized and the arrest of the subject associated with the original search warrant is pending. (SFPD Case No. 151099732)

Stolen Property/ Burglary Arrests – Ingalls / Egbert – 12/22/15, 9:34 am

Officers conducted a traffic stop after witnessing several vehicle code violations and made contact with the driver and his passenger. They smelled a strong odor of marijuana emanating from the car. The occupants admitted to having smoked marijuana earlier. A record check revealed that the driver was not licensed and was arrested. The officers searched the vehicle for additional drugs. Inside a pillow case on the back seat, they found several jewelry boxes, collectible coins, as well as a large amount of cash. One of the jewelry boxes contained an envelope with an address of a Daly City resident on it. The officers contacted Daly City Police to inquire about the address. They were told that that particular home had just been burglarized and that the items stolen were jewelry, coins, and a large amount of currency. The Daly City officers responded and took custody of both suspects who they were able to identify as a result of their investigation. Both suspects were booked in San Mateo County.
