Narcotics Loitering Arrest – 1500 block Oakdale – 12/08/15, 5:20 pm:

Officers spotted a suspect loitering in the area who had previously been formally advised to stay away from the area stemming from a previous narcotics arrest. He was placed under arrest. The officers located heroin in his possession. He was booked on narcotics charges and for loitering where narcotics are used and sold. (SFPD Case No. 151062820)

Robbery– Wisconsin / Connecticut – 12/08/15, 8:30 pm

A 41 year old victim was robbed as he was unloading groceries from his car with his 35 year old wife.  A suspect approached him from behind and struck him with a hard object. The suspect then reached into the victim’s pocket and stole his wallet. The suspect then punched the victim’s wife before running into a waiting black SUV. The vehicle drove from the scene. This incident is under investigation.  (SFPD Case No. 151063260)

Firearm Arrest– Quesada / Ingalls – 12/09/15, 1:45 pm

Officers stopped a car for a traffic violation. The driver appeared nervous and fidgety and continuously reached over to his passenger who in-turn began reaching into her pants. Both subjects were detained. The driver was found to be on active federal probation for a gun conviction and had an active warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody. Believing that the passenger was attempting to conceal contraband, the offices conducted a pat search of her person and located a loaded .40 caliber handgun in her waistband. Both suspects were booked on numerous weapons related violations. (SFPD Case No. 151065410)

Robbery Attempt – 1500 block Oakdale – 12/10/15, 5:00 am

Two victims, ages 25 and 31, were walking in the area when they were attacked by three suspects. The suspects demanded money and when the victims could not provide any, the suspects continued to beat them and threatened to kill them. The suspects then got into a grey sedan which fled the scene. Both victims were medically treated for their injuries. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 151067353)

Robbery, Aggravated Assault Arrest – 100 block Barneveld – 12/10/15, 6:00 pm

Officers responded to a call of an assault and made contact with the 58 year old victim. He told them that he had walked away from his cart, which contained some of his personal items, for a short distance and turned to see a suspect rummaging through it. The victim approached the suspect and told him to leave his cart alone at which point the suspect produced a metal pipe and struck the victim with it, breaking his wrist. The suspect then fled on foot. The officers searched the area and located the suspect at 25th and Potrero. He was positively identified and arrested. He was booked on attempted robbery and aggravated assault charges. The victim was treated for his injuries at St. Lukes Hospital. (SFPD Case No. 151069343)

Robbery Attempt – Kiska / Reardon – 12/10/15, 10:40 pm

Officers responded to a call of a stabbing. They met with the 37 year old victim who had been stabbed by a suspect who attempted to rob him. The victim told the officers that the suspect approached him from behind, ordered him to surrender his money, and stabbed him before the victim could comply. The suspect fled on foot. The victim was treated for his injuries at SFGH. This incident is under investigation.  (SFPD Case No. 151069848)
