Homicide Attempt Arrest– 1300 block Revere – 9/20/15, 12:50 am:

Officers responded to a call of shots fired and located a parked vehicle that had been hit several times by bullets. The owner of the car was notified and the incident was documented. The following day, a 27 year old victim came to Bayview Station reporting that h had been the intended target in the shooting but was missed by the suspect. The officer’s investigation led to the identification of the suspect, a parolee, who was located and arrested on October 3rd on the 1000 block of Fillmore. He was booked on attempted homicide and parole violation charges. (SFPD Case No. 150826102)


Aggravated Assault Arrest – 3rd / Newcomb – 10/01/15, 8:50 am:

Officers responded to an assault and located the 55 year old victim as well as the suspect at the scene. The suspect was armed with a crowbar that he laid down after several orders from the officers. The officers determined through their investigation that the victim had gotten into an altercation with the suspect after he accused her dog of trying to bite his dog. The victim then swung at the victim multiple times, in his attempt to hit her with the weapon, unsuccessfully. The suspect resisted the officers when they attempted to take him into custody but were eventually successful. He was booked on aggravated assault and resisting arrest charges. Armed Robbery – LaSalle / Cashmere – 10/02/15, 9:00 pm:

A 53 year old victim was walking home when she noticed a suspect following her. She was frightened and relieved when she saw a friend of hers sitting in a parked car nearby. She got into the car and stayed with her friend for several minutes. When it appeared that the suspect had left, the victim’s friend got out of his car and walked into his house. The victim realized that the suspect had not left but had been hiding in a nearby stairwell as she saw him approaching the car she was in. The suspect pointed a handgun at her through the rolled down window and demanded her property. The terrified victim complied and handed over her cell phone. The suspect fled on foot. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150865025)


Robbery – 1600 block Wallace – 10/03/15, 12:30 pm:

A victim was walking in the area when a suspect approached him and told him to get rid of the red shirt he had tied around his waist. The suspects identified himself as a “sureño” (a street gang that associates itself with the color blue). He went to go pull the shirt from the victim and while doing so, also reached into the victim’s pocket and stole his iPhone before fleeing the scene. This incident is under investigation. Armed Robbery– Wisconsin / 25th – 10/03/15, 11:00 pm:

A 38 year old victim was in his parked car when another vehicle parked beside him. The suspect got out of his car, pointed a handgun at the victim and demanded his money. When the victim told the suspect that he had no money, the suspect told the victim to give up his cell phone. Out of fear for his life, the suspect complied. The suspect then got back into his grey Nissan Quest and drove from the scene. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150868035)


Homicide – 1500 block Oakdale – 10/04/15, 4:56 am:

Officers responded on a report of shots fired and located a witness who directed them to a home where they located a 36 year old male victim. The victim had sustained a gunshot wound and was immediately transported to SFGH where he later succumbed to his grave injuries. The officers secured the crime scene, preserved all evidence, and obtained witness statements. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150868499)

10/02/15, 10:25 pm, Felton / San Bruno, wallet stolen

10/02/15, 10:05 pm, 18th / Arkansas, items stolen to be determined

10/03/15, 3:00 am, Lane / McKinnon, cell phone stolen

10/04/15, 12:00 am, Galvez / 3rd, sunglasses stolen

Bayview Station holds community meetings with the Captain on the first Tuesday of each month.  The next Community meeting will be at 6PM on Tuesday, October 6th
