Aggravated Assault– 200 block Bayshore – 9/17/15, 2:05 pm:

A 26 year old victim confronted a subject rummaging through his dumpster as he walked out of his home. The suspect became combative and threatened the victim. The victim got on his phone to call the police at which point the suspect pulled out a knife and attempted to stab the victim, unsuccessfully, several times. The suspect then got on his bicycle and rode from the scene. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150816551)


Robbery – 400 block Mansell – 9/1615, 4:00 pm:

A victim was standing at the bus stop, looking at her phone, when a silver vehicle pulled up and two suspects got out. The suspects approached the victim. One of them grabbed her and punched her while the other snatched the phone from her hand. Both suspects then returned to the waiting vehicle which sped from the scene. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150818999)


Robbery – Oakdale / 3rd – 9/18/15, 3:00 pm:

A 42 year old victim was riding the T-Line while holding her iPhone in her hand. Two suspects approached her from the rear of the coach. One of them snatched the phone from her hand and was able to take it from her after a brief struggle. Both suspects then got off the bus and fled on foot. This incident is under investigation. Shots Fired – Missouri / Watchman – 9/18/15, 9:00 pm:

Officers responded on a call of shots fired and located multiple spent shell casings in the street along with other evidence. They located several three victims that stated that they had been walking in the area when a large group of suspects rounded a corner and walked toward the victims. Several of the suspects had handguns and fired at the victims, who all ran away. None of the victims were injured as a result of the shooting. However, a parked car had sustained gunshot damage. Crime Scene Investigations responded and processed the scene. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150820950)


Recovered Firearm– 24th / Illinois – 9/19/15, 9:38 am:

Officers met with a DPW employee who found had found a loaded revolver while cleaning up the sidewalk and managing the bushes in the area. The officers seized the gun and booked it into evidence pending an investigation into its possible use in any criminal activity. (SFPD Case No. 150822075)


 

Firearm Arrest – 900 block Connecticut – 9/19/15, 3:38 pm:

Bayview Officers, after an investigation into a suspect’s involvement with weapons and gang activity, secured a search warrant for his person and residence. They detained the subject at his home while they conducted the search. They located and seized a .22 LR with a sawed off stock, a loaded .380 pistol, as well as multiple magazines and ammunition the suspect’s bedroom. The suspect, a felon prohibited from possessing weapons, was booked on multiple weapons and ammunition charges. (SFPD Case No. 150823001)


Shooting – Bayshore / Silver – 9/19/15, 4:35 pm:

Officers responded to a call of shots fired and located a vehicle that had been damaged by multiple rounds of gunfire along with two male victims, ages 26 and 28. The victims told the officers that they had been driving in their car when an older while vehicle pulled up beside them and the passenger of the suspect vehicle leaned out the window and began shooting at them. The suspect vehicle then struck the victim’s vehicle in the rear before speeding off from the scene. Both victims were transported to SFGH for treatment of their non life-threatening injuries. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150823318)


Robbery – Paul / San Bruno – 9/19/15, 5:00 pm:

A 44 year old victim was sitting underneath the freeway when he was approached by three suspects. One of the suspects grabbed the victim and threw him to the ground. All three suspects then began to kick the victim. The suspects removed the victim’s wallet and cell phone from his person before fleeing on foot. The victim was treated for his injuries at SFGH. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150823910)


Auto Burglary, Auto Theft, Hot Prowl Burglary, Robbery Arrests – 1000 block Silliman, Felton/Dartmouth, 2400 block San Bruno – 9/19/15 – 9/20/15: (SFPD Case No. 150825483, 150824786, 150824532, 150824736, 150824281)

At 2:20 am, officers responded to a call of a robbery attempt that occurred at Felton and Dartmouth. The 60 year old victim told them that he had parked his car and was walking home when a voice from behind him told him to give up hip phone and money. The victim turned to see a suspect brandishing a wooden dowel. The victim stated that he only had his keys on him. The suspect began to strike the victim with the dowel until a second suspect, who was seated inside a gold colored Lexus, called him off. Both suspect fled the scene in their vehicle. The victim was treated for his injures at SFGH.

At 5:15 am, officers responded to a hot prowl burglary at a home on the 700 block of Silliman. The victim stated that he had been asleep when he heard his front gate slam. A few seconds later, a suspect entered the victim’s bedroom with a flashlight. The victim screamed and the suspect fled. The victim’s roommate, awakened by the noise, got up and looked outside to find that his Honda had been stolen. Money and additional car keys were also missing from the house.

While searching for the suspects, the officers were flagged down by a 35 year old victim who stated that she had just seen the suspect that had robbed her the day before. She stated that on 9/19/15 at 11:50 pm, she was walking home in the area of Somerset / Felton when a suspect ran up to her from behind and demanded her property. The victim attempted to run away but the suspect chased her down and stuck her in the face, the victim fell and dropped the purse she had been holding. The suspect snatched the purse and got into a waiting sedan which drove off north on Somerset. Some of the victim’s items were found discarded at a playground at Princeton and Wayland. Officers located the two subjects inside a car on the 2400 block of San Bruno and detained them both. They were identified as the suspects in the robbery and robbery attempt incidents from Somerset and Felton and Felton and Dartmouth. The suspects were placed under arrest.

A search of the suspects’ vehicle revealed items that had been stolen during in the hot prowl burglary from the 700 block of Silliman, including the stolen car keys. Other items in the suspects’ possession were identified as having been taken in an auto boost that occurred on 9/19/15 on the 1000 block of Silliman.

Both crime spree suspects were booked on multiple charges including robbery, attempted robbery, aggravated assault, hot prowl burglary, auto theft, auto burglary, possession of stolen property, and conspiracy charges.
