Shooting Arrest– 1600 block Oakdale – 9/11/15, 1:25 pm:

Officers responded to a call of a shooting and located a 67 year old male victim who had suffered gunshot wounds to both hands. He told the officers that his roommate had shot him after the two had argued. The victim was treated for his injuries at SFGH. The suspect was located and arrested. The suspect, a convicted felon prohibited from possessing any weapons, was booked on aggravated assault with a gun charges. (SFPD Case No. 150798250)

Aggravated Assault – 300 block Bayshore – 9/11/15, 6:00 pm:

A 26 year old victim and his wife had exited a fast food restaurant and were headed towards their vehicle when two suspects approached him and asked him what gang he belonged to and why he was wearing red. The victim stated that he was not a gang member and wore what he wanted, at which point the suspects threw the food they were carrying at the victim. One of the suspects then pulled out a knife and swung it at the victim, missing him. The victim produced his own knife and held the suspects off. Both suspects then got into a vehicle and threatened the victim and his wife before driving off. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150799054)

Shooting – 1800 25th St – 9/11/15, 10:40 pm:

Officers responded to a call of a shooting and located a 42 year old male victim and a 53 year old female victim. Both had suffered gunshot wounds. Both were transported to SFGH where they were treated for their non-life threatening injuries. A third victim, a 25 year old male, had also suffered a gunshot wound during the same incident and was brought to SFGH by a friend. He too was treated. The officers secured the crime scene, preserved, evidence, and collected witness statements. Through their investigation, they were able to locate a suspect who was detained, investigated, and processed for gunshot residue pending results. This incident is under investigation. Commercial Robbery – 2500 block San Bruno – 9/8/15, 1:50 pm:

A suspect walked into a restaurant and demanded money from the two employees who were working while brandishing a handgun. The suspect was given money from the register and safe. He then fled on foot. The officers secured the crime scene and reserved all evidence. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150788477)

Auto Theft Arrest – 3rd / Paul – 9/12/15, 10:00 am:

A victim of an auto theft spotted his stolen vehicle being driven by a suspect into a parking lot and called the police. The officers arrived and located the suspect in the driver’s seat of the car in question. She was placed under arrest and booked on auto theft charges. (SFPD Case No. 150800673)

Stolen Property Arrest – Newhall / LaSalle – 9/12/15, 7:30 am:

Officers stopped a bicyclist for a traffic violation. They asked him about his bike and he replied that he purchased it from a friend for $30 and that it was probably stolen. The officers conducted a record check of the serial number and confirmed that the bike was in fact stolen. The suspect was arrested for possession of stolen property. (SFPD Case No. 150800190)

Shots Fired Arrest– unit block Double Rock – 9/12/15, 11:00 pm:

Officers heard gunshots coming from the Alice Griffith Housing Development and rushed to the scene. They located multiple spent shell casings and a parked vehicle that had been damaged by gunfire. They located surveillance footage that captured the suspect shooting at the unoccupied car. They searched the area and located the suspect, who was placed under arrest and booked on shooting related charges with additional investigation pending. (SFPD Case No. 150802801)

Burglary Arrest – 1100 block Shafter – 9/13/15, 9:20 pm:

Officers responded to a call of a burglary in progress. They conducted a building search and located a suspect outside. The suspect was in possession of multiple burglary tools as well as copper pipes, a sink, and other items that had been stolen from the warehouse. He was placed under arrest and booked on burglary, possession of stolen property, and possession of burglary tools charges. (SFPD Case No. 150805407)

Burglary Arrest – 1100 block Thomas – 9/12/15, 10:00 pm:

Officers responded to a call of a burglary and spotted a suspect crouching behind the fence of the building in question. On seeing the officers, the suspect jumped back over the fence and attempted to flee the scene. He was arrested for attempted burglary and was booked. (SFPD Case No. 150805457)

Stabbing – San Bruno / Paul – 9/14/15, 5:30 pm:

A 25 year old male victim was brought to SFGH after being stabbed on a MUNI bus. The responding officers learned through their investigation that the victim was riding the bus with his female when two suspects approached and confronted them for an unknown reason. The female suspect attempted to attack the victim’s female friend at which point the victim stepped in. As soon as he did, the male suspect produced a knife and stabbed the victim. The suspects then fled the coach. MUNI surveillance footage which may have captured the assault is pending. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150808138)

Recovered Firearm– 200 block of Cameron – 9/14/15, 5:340 pm:

Officers responded to the Alice Griffith Housing Development on a tip regarding a suspect driving around while brandishing a handgun. The officers located the vehicle in question driving in the area of Jennings and Bancroft. When the officers attempted to stop the car, it took off at a high rate of speed. The officers followed the vehicle as it attempted to evade them. At one point, they saw the passenger (who the officers identified from previous contacts) lean out the passenger side window and toss a firearm out. The vehicle then accelerated and the officers decided not to pursue in the interest of public safety. They collected the loaded .40 caliber pistol from the ground and booked it as evidence. An arrest warrant for the suspect is pending. (SFPD Case No. 150807920)

Firearm Arrest – 1800 block 25th – 9/14/15, 2:45 pm:

Officers patrolling in the area of the Potrero Hill Housing Development spotted a group of subject standing on the street as they smoked marijuana. They detained the subjects and conducted their investigation. As they did so, they noticed a .44 special pistol in a box on the ground near one of the subjects. The same suspect had been involved in an earlier incident involving a handgun which had not been recovered during that investigation. The suspect was placed under arrest and booked on weapons violations with further investigation pending. (SFPD Case No. 150807469)
