Robbery – 3rd / Oakdale – 8/11/15, 4:00 pm:

A 19 year old victim was robbed when a suspect approached him from behind, put him in a bear hug, and demanded his money. The victim, fearing for his safety, handed over all the cash that he had. The suspect then fled on foot. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150699818)


Robbery – 1200 block Connecticut – 8/11/15, 8:25 pm:

A 27 year old victim was showing her companion some photos on her camera when a suspect ran by and snatched the camera away from her. The victim attempted to hold on to the strap but was unsuccessful. The suspect fled on foot. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150700590)


Narcotics Arrest – 800 block Vermont – 8/11/15, 11:30 pm:

Officers spotted a vehicle that had been involved in a pursuit in the area of Osceola and LaSalle several days prior. The pursuit had been terminated in the interest of public safety, but not before the officers got a good look at the suspect. The suspect was found seated in the driver’s seat and although he initially made an attempt to flee, the officers were able to take him into custody without incident. The suspect was on active parole and was found to have multiple twists of heroin on his person which had been packaged for individual sale. He was booked on reckless evading, narcotics for sale, as well as probation violation charges. (SFPD Case No. 150690060)


Reckless Driving/ Dirt Bike Arrest – 2800 block 3rd – 8/12/15, 12:15 pm:

At 12:30 pm, officers spotted a group of subject riding motorized dirt bikes in the area of AT&T Park. Several subjects were doing wheelies and endangering the safety of the pre-game crowd with their antics. Other units responded to assist but the suspects drove away from the area. They were later spotted again at the gas station on the 2800 block of 3rd. As the officers approached, one of the suspects alerted the others to the officers’ presence and they all started their engines and took off. One was unable to do so fast enough and was apprehended. The suspect had a warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody. He was booked on reckless driving charges along with his warrant. The dirt bike was seized. (SFPD Case No. 150702803)


Firearm Arrest – 100 block Cameron – 8/12/15, 4:20 pm:

Officers observed a subject in front of his residence, who they recognized from previous weapons related offenses. The suspect was also recently seen in an online video brandishing a handgun. The officers knew that he was on active probation with a search condition and decided to conduct a search of his person and residence. Inside the suspect’s bedroom, the officers located a loaded a .40 caliber handgun. The suspect was arrested and booked on the weapons and probation violations. (SFPD Case No. 150703362)


Aggravated Assault Arrest – unit block Cameron – 8/12/15, 6:00 pm:

Officers responded to a call of an altercation involving a subject who had been brandishing a knife. They met with the residents of the home who told the officers the suspect was inside. As the officers entered, they watched as another resident, the 34 year old victim, walked down the stairs with the suspect behind him. The suspect then threw a rock at the victim, striking him in the head. The officers immediately placed the suspect under arrest and summoned medical assistance for the victim, who was treated at the scene. The suspect, who also had a warrant out of Oakland for assault, was booked on said warrant and aggravated assault charges. (SFPD Case No. 150703760)


Auto Burglary Arrest – 1000 block of Ingerson – 8/13/15, 9:00 pm:

A victim came out to his car in the morning and found a suspect asleep inside the vehicle. Officers responded and detained the suspect as the victim surveyed the interior. The victim told the officers that money was missing from his ashtray. A search of the suspect revealed the currency on her person. The suspect was booked on auto burglary charges. (SFPD Case No. 150705051)


Robbery – Minnesota / 25th – 8/13/15, 3:34 am:

A 58 year old victim was sleeping inside of his parked truck when a suspect suddenly opened the vehicles door and demanded money and threatening to shoot the victim. Out of fear for his life, the victim handed over his money and cell phone to the suspect who in turn fled on foot. No gun was actually seen by the victim. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150704956)


Narcotics Arrest – Cesar Chavez / Vermont – 8/13/15, 10:48 pm:

Officers stopped a car for a traffic violation and discovered that the driver had a suspected license. He was placed under arrest. A search of the vehicle revealed a digital scale, marijuana grinder and several bags of marijuana. They also found additional marijuana, packaged for sale as well as over 42 grams of methamphetamine. The suspect was booked on multiple narcotics related charges. (SFPD Case No. 150707847)
