Narcotics Arrest – 1000 block Connecticut – 8/4/15, 10:50 pm:

Officers were flagged down regarding an altercation between two subjects and detained both parties. One of the subjects was a probationer with a search condition. A search of his person revealed a used glass meth pipe along with a bindle of tar heroin. He was placed under arrest and booked on narcotics charges. (SFPD Case No. 150679218)

Firearm Arrest– 1400 block Palou – 8/4/15, 9:20 pm:

Officers responded to a call of a fight between roommates involving a firearm. Both subjects were detained as the officers conducted their investigation. One of the suspects was on probation with a search condition. A search of his room revealed a shotgun and ammunition. He was placed under arrest. The second suspect was found to have crack cocaine on his person and was also placed under arrest. Both suspects were booked on their respective charges of firearm and narcotics violations. Recovered Firearms – 200 block Yale – 8/4/15, 1:50 pm:

Officers responded to a call from an employee at a construction site who stated that he found several firearms along the fence line of the construction site. The officers seized two .22 caliber rifles, a 12 gauge shotgun, and an air rifle that they located underneath some debris. The weapons were booked as evidence pending further investigation. Robbery – 23rd / Arkansas – 8/4/15, 10:00 pm:

A 29 year old victim was riding a MUNI bus while holding her cell phone in her hand when two suspects boarded the bus and sat directly behind her. When the bus came to a stop, one of the suspects reached over the victim’s shoulder and grabbed the phone. The victim struggled to retain control of the cell phone but the suspect was able to overpower her, throwing her to the floor as he forced the phone away. Both suspects then fled the coach. Surveillance footage from the MUNI bus which may have captured the crime is pending. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150678975)

Aggravated Assault Arrest – 100 block Elmira – 8/5/15, 1:45 am:

Officers responded to a call of an assault and located two victims, a 44 year old male and a 70 year old female, who had suffered stab wounds. The officers learned that the two were attacked by their neighbor. The victims heard the suspect kicking his apartment door as he had done in the past when he became locked out. The male victim, who had a spare key to the unit, decided to let the suspect in to prevent him breaking down the door. After assisting him, the suspect turned and punched the victim, produced a knife, and stabbed him in the abdomen. The female victim then came out to see about the commotion and the suspect stabbed her in the lower back before fleeing into his unit. Both victims were treated for their injuries at SFGH. The officers located the suspect inside his residence and he admitted his involvement in the attack. He was booked on multiple counts of aggravated assault. (SFPD Case No. 150679462)

Robbery Attempt– 1100 block Palou – 8/6/15, 10:00 pm:

A 33 year old victim was sitting in his parked car as he spoke to a family member on the phone. A suspect approached him and asked for directions. The victim replied to the suspect, at which point the suspect reached his hand into his pocket, simulating a gun, and ordered the victim to give up his money. The victim told the suspect that he had no money at which point the suspect removed the item he was holding in his pocket and pointed it at the victim, threatening to shoot him. The victim realized that the suspect’s “gun” was actually a cell phone. The victim quickly started his car and drove away. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150685481)

Robbery – 19th / Texas – 8/6/15, 11:00 pm:

A 23 year old victim was taking photos in the area when she was approached by two suspects. One of the suspects grabbed her camera and tri-pod. The victim held on to her property and struggled with the suspect until the second suspect grabbed her and pulled her away. The suspects then demanded the victim’s cell phone and she handed it over out of fear for her safety. The suspects then ran off and got into a waiting silver Jaguar sedan which drove from the scene. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150685613)

Bayview Station holds community meetings with the Captain on the first Tuesday of each month.  The next Community meeting will be at 6PM on Tuesday, September 1st
