Robbery – Somerset / Felton – 7/27/15, 2:15 am:

A 37 year old victim was robbed while walking when a suspect approached him from behind and put him in a “bear hug”. Two other suspects then began going through the victim’s pockets, removing his cell phone and wallet. One of the suspects struck the victim prior to all three fleeing on foot. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150657189)


Shooting – 2800 block Cesar Chavez – 7/28/15, 6:00 pm:

A 43 year old female suffered a gunshot wound to the thigh while at a homeless encampment underneath the Highway 101 onramp. The victim was treated for her non life-threatening injuries at SFGH. Officers located and secured the crime scene along with witness statements and preserved all evidence. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150657377)


Hot Prowl Burglary – 1500 block Palou – 7/28/15, 4:45 pm:

A resident was in home when she noticed a pair of headphones missing from her room which faced the street. The window had been left open. The victim had a security camera facing the street and checked it. The footage showed a suspect walk past the house, notice the open window, and return. The video then showed the suspect reaching into the open window and walking away with the headphones. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150658284)


Shots Fired – unit block Turner Terrace – 7/28/15, 9:30 am:

Officers responded to a call of shots fired and located multiple bullet casings as well as a parked vehicle damaged by gunfire. Their investigation led them to security footage that captured the footage of a vehicle and suspects involved. The vehicle was later located, unoccupied, at Geneva and Brookdale. It was seized for evidence processing. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident, which is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150655810)


Shooting – 900 block Connecticut – 7/30/15, 4:30 am:

Officers responded to a call of a shooting and located a 43 year old male victim with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was treated for his injuries at SFGH. The officers secured the crime scene, preserved all evidence, ands obtained witness statements. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150661782)

7/28/15, 5:30 pm, Palou / 3rd, cell phone & tablet stolen

7/28/15, 6:30 am, unit block Charter Oak, backpack stolen

7/28/15, 8:15 am, 700 block Bacon, stereo and camera stolen

7/28/15, 11:30 pm, 2300 block 25th, paperwork stolen

 

Auto Theft:

None reported

Bayview Station holds community meetings with the Captain on the first Tuesday of each month. 

The next Community meeting will be at 6PM on Tuesday, August4th  at National Night Out
