 Narcotics Arrest– 3rd / LaSalle – 7/13/15, 9:55 am:

Officers detained a subject for drinking alcohol in public and arrested him on confirming that he had an outstanding warrant for his arrest. The officers found multiple MDMA (ecstasy) pills on his person. He was booked on the narcotics charges as well as his warrant. (SFPD Case No. 150609152)


Burglary, Firearm Arrest– unit block Osceola – 7/13/15, 7:00 pm:

Officers spotted a vehicle that they recognized as wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred in Los Altos. They stopped the car and detained the three occupants, known gang members, who were all on court ordered probation. They were arrested in connection to the burglary. The officers’ investigation led them to a home where they recovered a 9mm handgun. All of the suspects were booked on their respective charges of burglary, weapons possession, probation violation, as well as a gang enhancement. (SFPD Case No. 150611022)


Burglary Arrest – 800 block Carolina – 7/13/15, 8:40 pm:

Officers responded to a children’s center on a call of a burglary. They met with the reporting party who stated that she had noticed that someone had been looking up pornography on her office computer and printing photos. Surveillance footage from outside and inside the facility showed a subject approaching the building, inside the hallways of the building, and leaving the building. Later that day, the officers returned to the scene after receiving a call that the subject had come back. The officers located the suspect and confirmed he was the same subject that had been previously filmed inside the building. The suspect had a book of printed pornographic images on his person as well as an item that had been stolen from the main office. The suspect, already on court ordered probation, was booked on burglary and probation violation charges. (SFPD Case No. 150615331)


Narcotics Arrest – Oakdale / 3rd – 7/14/15, 12:30 pm:

Plainclothes officers conducting a narcotics abatement operation witnessed a hand to hand drug transaction and detained both parties involved. They recovered the crack cocaine that had been sold from the buyer and placed both suspects under arrest. The buyer was cited form the scene. The seller was booked on sales of narcotics charges. (SFPD Case No. 150612854)


Firearm Arrest – Oakdale / Lane – 7/14/15, 6:12 pm:

Officers spotted a subject loitering in the area who they knew from previous contacts involving narcotics and firearms. The officers knew that the subject was on active probation with a search condition and decided to investigate. They located he suspect’s car nearby and searched it, confirming a small amount of narcotics inside. They then searched the suspect’s home on the 100 block of Coral and located a loaded .22 caliber handgun inside a jacket pocket in the suspect’s closet. The suspect was placed under arrest and was booked on weapons and probation violation charges. (SFPD Case No. 150613959)


Shooting – 1600 block LaSalle – 7/15/15, 3:00 am:

A 25 year old male victim was shot in the leg and was brought to SFGH by several companions. All of the subjects, including the victim, were uncooperative with the officers’ investigation that morning. The officers were able to locate a crime scene along with evidence which they preserved. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150614872)


Shooting, Firearm Arrest – 1600 block LaSalle – 7/15/15, 6:00 pm:

Officers responded to a call of a shooting and located multiple shell casings as well as several parked vehicles damaged by gunfire. Other officers responded to SFGH where they located the 38 year old male victim, who had suffered several gunshot wounds, and his female companion. The officers examined the vehicle in which the victim was driven to the hospital by his female and found that it had been damaged by gunfire as well. A search inside the vehicle revealed multiple tablets of ecstasy. The female companion was arrested. A search of her purse revealed a loaded 40 caliber pistol. She was booked on weapons and narcotics charges. An investigation into the shooting of the victim is ongoing. (SFPD Case No. 150616624)


Firearm Arrest – 100 block Kiska – 7/16/15, 11:30 am:

Officers obtained a search warrant for a subject believed to be in possession of a firearm. They served the warrant at the suspect’s home and recovered an air rifle, a loaded .45 caliber handgun with an obliterated serial number, as well as ammunition. The suspect was arrested and booked on weapons charges. (SFPD Case No. 150619139)


Shots Fired, Firearm Arrest – Wayland / Somerset – 7/16/15, 6:20 pm:

Officers responded to a call of shots fired by a group of suspects at a subject who fired back in return. The officers located spent shell casings at the scene and secured the crime scene. Officers searching the area located two vehicles and six subjects who were possibly involved. One of the subjects, who lived in the area, stated that he had shot back at the suspect with his own handgun after the one of the subjects shot at his relative. His gun, a 9mm semi-automatic, was located inside his home and was seized by the officers. All of the remaining subjects were tested for gunshot residue at Bayview Station. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident, which is still under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150619963)


Stabbing – 3rd / Kirkwood – 7/16/15, 9:00 pm:

Officers responded to SFGH on a report of a 45 year old male victim had been stabbed in the abdomen and thigh. The officers were able to determine where the assault took place but could not obtain any information regarding the suspect from the uncooperative victim that night. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150620506)


Auto Burglary Arrest – Wallace / 3rd – 7/16/15, 9:00 pm:

Officers arrested a suspect for auto burglary in the Walgreens parking lot after receiving a call of an auto boost in progress. The officers found the suspect inside the victim vehicle and detained him. They located the owner of the car who confirmed that the vehicle had in fact been burglarized. The suspect had property stolen from the vehicle on his person. He was arrested and booked. (SFPD Case No. 150620380)

Bayview Station holds community meetings with the Captain on the first Tuesday of each month.
