Narcotics Arrest – 3rd / Palou – 7/7/15, 2:00 pm:
Officers conducting a narcotics abatement operation in the area arrested two suspects after witnessing the two engage in a narcotics transaction. Both the “buyer” and the “seller” were detained and the narcotics were seized by the officers. (SFPD Case No. 150591101)


Aggravated Assault Arrest– unit block Maddux – 7/7/15, 3:25 pm:
Officers responded to an altercation and detained both parties. Through their investigation, they determined that the two subjects argued about one owing the other money. The argument turned physical when one of the subjects grabbed a 1×4 board and began chasing the other subject down the street, striking him multiple times. The suspect was arrested and booked on aggravated assault charges. (SFPD Case No. 150591731)


Narcotics Arrest– 5500 block 3rd – 7/7/15, 3:43 pm:
Officers who were conducting a narcotics surveillance operation in the area watched from an area of concealment as a hand to hand heroin transaction was made. The “seller” was operating out of a parked vehicle. When the “buyer rolled up in a van, she yelled out of her window to the seller, “Hey, you got some?” The “seller” ran over to the van and exchanges narcotics for money. Both suspects were placed under arrest and the heroin was recovered.(SFPD Case No. 150591418)


Recovered Firearm– 3rd / Quesada – 7/7/15, 5:32 pm:
Officers patrolling in the area approached a large group of subjects who were loitering on the corner. The group quickly dispersed. The officers searched the area and located a loaded 38 special handgun concealed in a SFPCU water box that was built into the sidewalk. The officers seized the weapon and booked it into evidence. Recovered Firearm – 1000 block Connecticut – 7/7/15, 5:30 pm:
Officers patrolling in the area were approached by a resident who turned in a 9mm handgun. The resident stated that he had parked his car and felt his wheel run over a bump. He checked out what he had driven over and found it to be the gun. Crime Scene Investigations collected the weapon for possible DNA evidence. (SFPD Case No. 150591816)


Vandalism Arrest – 700 block Amador – 7/7/15, 5:00 pm:                                                              Officers responded on a call of vandalism and found the reporting party detaining a subject who had vandalized a local business in the area. The witness told the officers that he saw the suspect and an accomplice enter the yard of the business and approach a cylindrical rail tank. The suspect then produced a can of red spray paint and began to graffiti on the tank. The witness chased the suspect and the accomplice, successfully detain the suspect. The 15 year old suspect was taken into custody by the officers and was cited out to a family member for the offense. (SFPD Case No. 150591850)


Paintball Gun Arrest – 200 block Cameron – 7/9/15, 2:30 pm:
Officers responded to a call of two subjects shooting paintball guns at each other, located and detained both suspects, and seized both paint guns. The suspects were cited for the misdemeanor violation of air gun possession. An investigation into the suspects’ involvement in the several recent incidents in the Bayview involving paintball guns is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150597626)
