Hot Prowl Burglary– 2200 block 3rd – 6/29/15, 4:00 pm:

A 21 year old victim woke up from a nap to find that multiple items had been stolen from his home. There were no obvious signs of forced entry and the victim believed he knew who the suspect was, as the suspected individual had access to the victim’s home. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150568332)


Aggravated Assault– 3rd / Kirkwood – 6/29/15, 3:45 pm:

A 56 year old victim was seated on the T-Line when three subjects boarded the train. One of them was armed with a paintball gun and began shooting at a young female passenger multiple times. One of the paintballs struck the victim, causing injury for which she was treated at the hospital. No other injuries were reported as a result of the attack. This incident is under investigation. Robbery– 3rd / Palou – 6/30/15, 11:15 pm:

A 19 year old victim was riding a MUNI bus with the three suspects seated on the coach behind her. As the bus came to a stop, one of the suspects snatched the victim’s iPhone from her hand. All three suspects then got off the bus and fled on foot. This incident is under investigation.  (SFPD Case No. 150569647)


Aggravated Assault– 3rd / Palou – 6/30/15, 2:35 pm:

A 25 year old victim came to Bayview Station and reported that as she stood inside the Mendel Plaza along with approximately 20 other people, a subject got out of a car and began firing paintballs at the crowd. The victim was hit in the thigh. The suspect then got back into the crowd and fled. No other injuries were reported as a result of the attack. This incident is under investigation. Robbery Arrest– 300 block Woodside – 6/30/15, 3:12 pm:

On June 23rd at 2:07 pm, a 30 year old victim was robbed when she walked out of her home and preceded down the street. A car pulled up beside her and a suspect got out. He approached the victim and violently yanked her purse from her shoulder. The suspect then got back into the waiting vehicle which fled the scene. The investigating officers’ investigation led to the identification and arrest of the suspect. He was booked on robbery and conspiracy charges.

Shots Fired– 1600 block Quesada – 6/30/15, 9:20 pm:

Officers responded to a “ShotSpotter” activation and located two witnesses who told them that they had seen a subject shooting off a firearm at a vehicle driving in the direction of Quesada St. The officers searched the area for possible victims, damage and the suspect but were unable to locate any. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident, which is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150571391)


Firearm Arrest – 4500 block 3rd – 7/01/15, 3:20 pm:

Patrolling officers drove past a subject who immediately put his hood over his head and clutched his waistband on seeing them. The officers got out of their car and followed the suspect who ducked into a liquor store. The officers watched as he quickly got behind a shelf and came right back around to face them. He was detained and the officers located a loaded .45 caliber handgun in between two bags of rice on the shelf that the suspect had briefly hid behind. A record check revealed that the suspect was on active parole for robbery. He was arrested and booked on firearms and parole violation charges. (SFPD Case No. 150573319)


Robbery Attempt – Revere / Ingalls – 7/01/15, 4:43 pm:

Two victims were nearly robbed when they were approached by two suspects while waiting for a bus. The suspects began shouting at the victims and gesturing for them to empty their pockets. The suspects then attacked the victims, punching and kicking them multiple times. One of the suspects brandished a knife at the victims at which point the victims were able to run away. The suspect chased them but fled the scene when the victims ran into an open garage that was full of people. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150573632)


Auto Burglary Attempt – 22nd / Illinois – 7/01/15, 8:40 pm:

Officers conducting an auto burglary abatement operation watched a suspect who they recognized casing the area in his car. They had arrested the suspect earlier this year for auto burglary in the same location and were familiar with him and his vehicle. They watched the suspect park his car and walk up to a nearby parked vehicle. He peered into the window, produced a window punch, and shattered the glass. The suspect then went inside the victim vehicle. The officers’ approach startled the suspect and he ran out of the car he had broken into and got back into his own vehicle, speeding from the scene. The officers gave chase but discontinued in the interest of public safety when the suspect began driving with disregard for other vehicles in the area. An arrest warrant in this case is pending. 6/30/15, 8:00 am – 9:00 am, 200 block Bayshore, commercial, amplifier and speaker stolen (SFPD Case No. 150573018)

06/30/15, 11:00 am – 11:30 pm, 600 block Tennessee, purse stolen

Bayview Station holds community meetings with the Captain on the first Tuesday of each month.
