Auto Burglary Arrest– Illinois / 23rd – 6/11/15, 10:10 pm:

Officers who were part of the auto abatement operation in the area had identified a car whose occupants were seen dumping stolen property from several auto burglaries. The conducted surveillance on the vehicle and watched as one of the two suspects walked slowly along 22nd St, peering into vehicles with flashlights. He then broke into a vehicle and began removing items from the car. He was placed under arrest. His companion was identified and investigated at the scene. The suspect was booked on auto burglary charges.(SFPD Case No. 150511626)


Recovered Firearm – 600 block Sweeny – 6/12/15, 3:11 pm:

Officer responded to a call of a firearm found in the street. They collected the handgun from the gutter area of the roadway and booked it into evidence.  (SFPD Case No. 150513860)


Auto Theft Arrest– Revere / Hawes – 6/16/15, 10:04 am:

An officer driving a patrol car equipped with an automatic license plate reader was alerted to a stolen vehicle that had just driven past him. The officer quickly located the car and affected a traffic stop, arresting the driver. The driver was booked on auto theft charges along with an outstanding $5000 warrant for his arrest for narcotics. (SFPD Case No. 150521926)

Armed Robbery – McKinnon / Newhall – 6/19/15, 11:45 pm:

A 40 year old victim was robbed at gunpoint when two suspects approached him as he was parking his car. One of the suspects hit him on the head with the handle of the gun and dragged him out of the car. The suspect then stole the victim’s wallet from his pocket and both suspects fled on foot. The victim reported the crime the following day at Bayview Station. This incident is under investigation.  (SFPD Case No. 150539032)


Narcotics Arrest – 1200 Newhall – 6/20/15, 3:17 pm:

Officers were surveying a suspect believed to be a drug dealer in the area. During the course of their investigation, they observed the suspect make a drug sale to subject while standing in front of his garage. Both suspects were detained and the crack cocaine that the suspect had sold was recovered. The suspect was booked on narcotics for sale charges along with an outstanding $7,500 warrant for his arrest. (SFPD Case No. 150538084)


Narcotics Arrest – Newhall / Newcomb – 6/20/15, 3:40 pm:

Officers conducting narcotics surveillance watched a hand t hand transaction and detained both seller and buyer. The crack cocaine rock that had been sold was recovered from the buyer and the suspect who sold it was placed under arrest and cited from the scene. (SFPD Case No. 150538131)


Auto Burglary Arrest – LaSalle / Las Villas – 6/22/15, 8:20 am:

Officers responded to a call of an auto burglary in progress and located the vehicle immediately when coming on scene. They found one suspect ducking down in the backseat of the car and on removing her, found a second suspect lying down on the back seat floorboard. Both suspects were placed under arrest and booked on auto burglary charges. One of the suspects also had an outstanding $40,000 warrant for auto burglary as well. (SFPD Case No. 150542790)


Armed Robbery – 20th / 3rd – 6/22/15, 2:00 am:

A 21 year old victim was robbed when a suspect approached him on the street and pointed a gun at him. The suspect demanded that the victim hand over his backpack and the victim complied out of fear for his life. The suspect then went through the victim’s pockets, removing his cell phone before fleeing the scene. The victim reported the robbery later that day at Bayview Station. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150544536)


Aggravated Assault Arrest – unit block Rosie Lee – 6/22/15, 8:40 pm:

Officers responded on a call of an altercation and located two victims who told them that they had been attacked by the suspect. The suspect was on the scene as well, still threatening to kill the victims. All of the parties were detained. The officers learned through their investigation that the suspect had accused the victims of stealing from her and proceeded to attack them by spraying them with pepper spray. The suspect had also bitten one of the victims and then began swinging a hammer at the other victim. The suspect was arrested and booked on aggravated assault charges. The victims were treated by medics at the  scene. (SFPD Case No. 150544940)


Armed Robbery– 2500 block 3rd – 6/23/15, 2:36 am:

A 45 year old victim was standing outside his place of work, using his phone, when a suspect approached him. The suspect demanded the victim’s phone and wallet. When the victim stated that he had no money, the suspect brandished a handgun, grabbed the victim’s cell phone, and fled on foot. This incident is under investigation.   (SFPD Case No. 150545562)
