Narcotics Arrest:

On March 16th at 3:45 pm, plainclothes officers conducting a narcotics abatement operation in the area of Thomas and Keith were conducting surveillance when they witnessed a drug transaction. They observed a suspect loitering on the corner that they recognized from prior contacts and drug related arrests. The suspect (dealer) was seen making contact with another suspect (middleman), who immediately walked over to a third subject (buyer) and obtained some money from him. The “middleman” then walked back over to the “dealer” and handed him the money. The “dealer” was then seen reaching into his waistband and removing a plastic bag. He pulled an item out of the bag and handed it to the “middleman”, who in turn walked over to the “buyer” and handed to item to him. The “buyer” then left the area and the arrest team took all three suspects into custody. The buyer was found to be in possession of 3 rocks of crack cocaine. The “dealer” was found to be in possession of multiple rocks of crack cocaine. Both the “dealer” and his “middleman” associate were booked on narcotics for sale and conspiracy charges at Bayview Station. The buyer was “booked” on narcotics charges as well as a warrant at Bayview Station. (SFPD Case No. 150234997)

Narcotics Arrest:

On March 16th, after an investigation into a local drug dealer, officers were able to secure a search warrant for the suspect’s person, residence and vehicles. At 4:15 pm, offices responded to the suspect’s home on the 1000 block of Lane. While on their way, the officers spotted the suspect driving in the area of Thomas and Keith. He was stopped and detained pending the outcome of the search. The search of the house revealed marijuana, scales and packaging supplies. Additional marijuana, powder cocaine and another scale was located inside the suspect’s vehicle. The suspect was booked on narcotics violations at Bayview Station. (SFPD Case No. 150235070)

Robbery:

On March 16th at 6:30 pm, officers responded to SFGH regarding a 57 year old robbery victim. They met with the victim’s relative who stated that the victim had been brought to the hospital the previous day with serious head injuries after being found lying in the street on the 2900 block of San Bruno. The relative stated that prior to locating the victim at SFGH, he had called the victims cell phone multiple times in trying to locate him. Each time the phone was answered by a subject who would only laugh and not reply to any questions. The relative started calling hospitals and finally located the victim. He responded to the hospital and identified the victim, but noticed that his backpack was missing from his personal effects. The officers responded to the location where the victim was located by paramedics and searched for witnesses and video surveillance. They were able to locate footage from a nearby surveillance camera that captured the assault. This evidence, along with witness statements was secured. This incident is under investigation. Robbery:

On March 15th at 10:30 pm, a 26 year old victim was robbed in the area of Palou and Phelps. He reported the incident the following day at Bayview Station. The victim stated that he had been walking along the street when he was approached from behind by two suspects. One of the suspects grabbed his around the torso while the second suspect punched him several times causing him to fall to the ground. The suspect then removed his jacket and went through the victims pockets, stealing his wallet. The suspect fled on foot. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150235456)

Auto Burglary Arrest:

On March 17th at 12:45 am, officers patrolling at Shafter and Ingalls were flagged down by an auto burglary victim. He told the officers that his car, which was parked on the 1800 block of Ingalls, was burglarized. The alarm went off causing the victim’s brother to look out of their window and see the suspect running from the vehicle with a bag in her hand. The victim’s brother chased the suspect into a garage on the 1400 block of Shafter. The officers searched the garage and located the suspect inside. She was positively identified and arrested. A search of her person revealed a bag of clothing, an iPod, health supplements, and money that had been stolen from the victim’s vehicle. She also had a flashlight and a broken spark plug (common burglary tools).The suspect was booked on auto burglary and possession of burglary tools charges at Bayview Station.
