Auto Theft Arrest:

On March 13th at 2:40 pm, an officer driving a patrol car equipped with license plate reading cameras was alerted to a vehicle, driving in the area of Silver and Quesada, as having been reported stolen. The officer made a U-turn and began to follow the car. The driver of the stolen vehicle immediately pulled the vehicle to the curb on the 1800 block of Palou, got out and attempted to walk away. He was arrested without incident and booked at Bayview Station on auto theft and possession of stolen property charges. The owner of the vehicle was notified and was reunited with his car. Auto Burglary Arrest:

On March 13th at 12:40 pm, officers responded to a call of an auto burglary in the area of Jennings and Carroll. The suspect was seen breaking into a parked car, grabbing an item from its interior, and riding away from the scene on a bike. The officers located the boosted vehicle as well as the witness. Another set of officers searched the area for the suspect and located him on the 100 block of Cameron. The suspect was positively identified by the witness and was placed under arrest. The suspect was booked on auto burglary charges at Bayview Station. (SFPD Case No. 150224675)

Shooting, Attempted Robbery:

On March 13th at 10:30 pm, officers responded to 19th and Pennsylvania in a report of a shooting. They located a 38 year old male victim who had sustained a gunshot wound to the abdomen. The victim told the officers that he had been walking in the area when he was approached by two suspects that attempted to rob him. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun while the other brandished a stun gun. The victim fought back at which point he was shot and both suspects fled on foot. They were last seen getting into a waiting vehicle. The victim was rendered aid and transported to SFGH for treatment. The officers preserved the crime scene and secured all evidence and witness statements.  This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150226518)

Auto Theft Arrest:

On March 14th at 8:00am, an officer driving a patrol car equipped with license plate reading cameras was alerted to a vehicle, parked on the 200 block of Napoleon, as having been reported stolen. The officer approached the car and located the suspect sleeping in the driver’s seat. The suspect was taken into custody and was booked at Bayview Station on auto theft and possession of stolen property charges. (SFPD Case No. 150218888)

Robbery:

On March 15th at 12:42 pm, officers responded to the 1500 block of Palou on a call of a robbery. They met with the two victims who stated that they were sitting on some stairs of a home in the area when they were approached by two suspects, one of whom was armed with a knife. The suspect with the knife held it to one of the victims and ordered him to surrender his property. The second suspect ordered the other victim to remove his designer jeans and hand them over. Both victims complied out of fear for their safety. Both suspects fled on foot. The officers searched the area for the suspects but were unable to locate them that day. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150231313)

Robbery:

On March 15th at 8:25 pm, a 44 year old victim was robbed in the area of Thornton and Pamona. He told the responding officers that he had been standing at the corner while talking on his cell phone when he was suddenly struck on the head from behind by a suspect who then grabbed and held the victim. A second suspect snatched the victim’s cell phone and both suspects fled the scene on foot. The officers searched the area for the suspects but were unable to locate them that night. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150232606)

Robbery:

On March 15th at 9:00 pm, a victim came into Bayview Station and reported that he had just been robbed of his cell phone while walking on the 100 block of Williams. The victim told the officer that he was approached by the suspect from behind. The suspect grabbed him around the torso and removed his cell phone from his front pocket. The suspect then fled on foot. Officers searched the area for the suspect but were unable to locate him that night. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150232850)

3/14/15, 3:30 pm – 4:00 pm, 3rd / Oakdale, kindle & keys stolen

3/15/15, 2:00 am – 5:00 am, 25th / Connecticut, backpacks stolen

3/12/15, 11:00 pm – 4:30 pm, Palou / Newhall, white Chrysler Concorde

3/14/15, 11:15 pm – 5:00 pm, Ingalls / LaSalle, gold Honda Accord

Bayview Station holds community meetings with the Captain on the first Tuesday of each month.  The next Community meeting will be on Tuesday, April 7th, at 6 PM
