Robbery:

On March 2nd at 11:00 pm, a 61 year old victim was robbed in the area of Palou and Hawes. The victim, a cab driver, told the responding officers that he had stopped his cab on the 1100 block of Palou and was looking in the trunk when he was approached by a suspect who was armed with a knife. The suspect threatened the victim with the knife before going through the victim’s pockets and removing all of his cash. The suspect then fled on foot westbound Palou. The officers searched the area for the suspect but were unable to locate him that night. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150191660)

Possession of Burglary Tools Arrest:

On March 3rd at 7:20 am, officers patrolling in the area of Mariposa and Texas stopped a bicyclist for failing to stop at a stop sign, narrowly missing colliding with the patrol car. The suspect matched the description that had been broadcast earlier regarding a suspect in the area who had been seen casing vehicles. A record check revealed that the suspect had an outstanding warrant for his arrest and was taken into custody. The officers made contact with two witnesses who positively identified the suspect as the same individual who had been casing the parked cars. A search of the suspect revealed multiple common burglary tools in his possession. The suspect was booked on possession of burglary tools charges at Bayview station along with an arrest warrant. Firearm Arrest:

On March 3rd, after an investigation into a suspect for weapons possession, officers were able to secure a search warrant for the suspect’s person and residence. They responded to his home on the 1400 block of Felton and executed the warrant at 5:45 pm. The suspect was present during the search and was detained pending its outcome. The officers located an M-11 assault rifle inside the suspect’s bedroom along with loose ammunition, methamphetamine, digital scales, and other drug paraphernalia. The suspect, a convicted felon prohibited from possessing any weapons, was booked on weapons and assault weapons charges. (SFPD Case No. 150194084)

Narcotics Arrest:

On March 3rd at 11:35 pm, officers patrolling in the area of Napoleon and Jerrold stopped a subject for riding his bike on the sidewalk without an operating headlight. A record check revealed that the suspect had an active no bail warrant for his arrest for possession of stolen property. The suspect was taken into custody and searched. The officers found methamphetamine on his person. The suspect was booked on the narcotics charges and warrant at Bayview Station. (SFPD Case No. 150195010)

Auto Theft Arrest:

On March 4th at 12:15 am, officers stopped a car for having no license plates in the area of Crisp and Revere. A record check of the vehicle’s VIN revealed that the car had been reported as stolen. The driver, already on felony probation, was taken into custody without incident. She was booked at Bayview Station on auto theft and possession of stolen property charges as well as a no bail arrest warrant for narcotics. (SFPD Case No. 150195032)

3/3/15, 8:10 pm – 8:15 pm, Kiska / Reardon, wallet stolen

3/3/15, 6:50 pm, Illinois / 20th, laptop stolen

Bayview Station holds community meetings with the Captain on the first Tuesday of each month.  The next Community meeting will be on Tuesday, April 7th, at 6 PM
