Possession of Stolen Property Arrest:

On February 27th at 4:30 pm, a victim of a burglary was driving along the 1600 block of Newcomb when she recognized a printer that had been stolen from her home sitting in a pile of items on the sidewalk. There were three suspects with the property. The responding officers arrived and detained all of the suspects pending their investigation. They notified the victim’s neighbor, who had also been burglarized on the same day and had him respond to the scene. He was able to identify a suitcase and a backpack that had been stolen from his home. The suspects were arrested for possession of stolen property and cited. (SFPD Case No. 150180908)

Auto Theft Arrest:

On February 27th at 10:15 pm, officers patrolling in the area of Palou and Lane stopped a car for a traffic violation and determined through a record check that the vehicle had been reported as stolen. The driver was arrested without incident and booked on auto theft charges at Bayview Station. (SFPD Case No. 150182067)

Narcotics Arrest:

On March 1st at 6:20 pm, plainclothes officers in the area of Keith and Thomas noticed a car driving in the area that matched the description of a vehicle possibly involved in a shots fired incident that occurred earlier that day at Hudson and Whitney Young. The officers followed the vehicle and saw it stop on the 1400 block of Thomas. The passenger got out and on seeing one of the officers approached him, immediately ducked behind a parked car as he threw something to the ground. The officer detained the subject and retrieved the discarded items, which turned out to be baggies containing multiple rocks of crack cocaine. The driver of the vehicle in question suddenly accelerated and drove the vehicle in reverse all the way to Thomas and Jennings. He was stopped as well and found to have marijuana, packaged in a manner consistent with sales, in his possession. Both suspects were arrested and were found to have large quantities of cash on their person. They were booked at Bayview Station on narcotics related charges. (SFPD Case No. 150187619)

Auto Burglary Arrest:

On March 1st at 6:53 pm, officers responded to a call of an auto burglary that had occurred on the 600 block of Missouri. They met with the victim who provided the officers with the description of the three suspects, all of which fled on foot with property they had stolen from the victim’s boosted vehicle. The officers also met with the victim’s neighbor, who watched the victim’s car being burglarized through his window before alerting the victim by phone. The officers searched the area and located two of the suspects on the 400 block of Pennsylvania. They had multiple items that had been stolen from the victim’s vehicle in their possession. A third suspect was located at 18th and Pennsylvania. He also had an item stolen from the car in his possession. All three suspects were positively identified. The suspect seen actually breaking into the vehicle was booked on auto burglary charges. The remaining two suspects were cited for possession of stolen property. (SFPD Case No. 150187738)
