Shots Fired:

On February 15th at 1:25 am, officers responded to a call of shots fired in the area of Mendell and McKinnon. They located spent shell casings on the southeast corner. The officers were able to determine through their investigation that four suspects in a black Pontiac Grand Prix were possibly responsible for the gunfire. The officers searched the area for suspects, possible victims and damage but were unable to locate any that morning. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150139193)


Marijuana Grow House Arrest:

On February 18th at 12:30 pm, after an investigation into an illegal marijuana grow house, officers obtained and served a search warrant on a warehouse on the 1500 block of Wallace. They located and detained two suspects inside the facility. Their search revealed nearly 3000 marijuana plants in various stages of growth, hydroponic ballasts and lights, as well as client pay sheets used to document the sales of the narcotics. All of the evidence was seized and both suspects were placed under arrest. They were booked on marijuana cultivating and conspiracy charges at Bayview Station. (SFPD Case No. 150150070)



Aggravated Assault:

On February 18th at 7:30 pm, a 61 year old victim was attacked outside of his home on the 1000 block of Palou by his neighbor. The victim reported the incident on the following day at Bayview Station. He told the officer that he had argued with the suspect after catching him urinating on the lawn in front of their apartment building. The altercation became physical when the suspect attacked the victim and began to strike him with a metal cane. The victim went to the hospital and was treated for the injuries he received as a result of the attack. This incident is under investigation with an arrest warrant pending. Aggravated Assault:

On February 19th at 2:35 pm, officers responded to a call of a fight on a MUNI LRV at 3rd and 23rd. They located the 36 year old male victim who had suffered several lacerations to his face. He was uncooperative with the investigation and refused to provide any information to the officers regarding what had occurred. The officers learned through witness statements that the victim was attacked by a suspect on the bus after a verbal altercation. The suspect had fled the scene prior to the officers’ arrival. The officers searched for the suspect but were unable to locate him that day. MUNI surveillance footage which may have captured the altercation is pending. This incident is under investigation. Auto Theft Arrest:

On February 19th at 3:00 pm, officers stopped a subject at Middlepoint and Wills for riding a motorcycle without a helmet. They learned through a record check that the motorcycle had been reported as stolen. The suspect, who also had no driver’s license, was arrested and booked on auto theft and possession of stolen property charges. (SFPD Case No. 150153983)


Armed Robbery:

On February 19th at 7:00 pm, a victim was robbed of his iPhone and iPod in the area of Silver and Dartmouth. He told the responding officers that as he was walking he was approached by a suspect who brandished a handgun and demanded his property. The victim, in fear for his life, handed over his phone and iPod. The suspect then fled the scene on foot. The officers searched the area for the suspect but were unable to locate him that day. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150154828)

Bayview Station holds community meetings with the Captain on the first Tuesday of each month. In March, the meeting will be held on Wednesday

The next Community meeting will be on Wednesday, March 4rd, at 6 PM
