Robbery:

On January 9th at 7:20 pm, a 39 year old victim was robbed on the 1000 block of Carolina. He told the responding officers that he had been walking to his house when he realized that two suspects were following him. The victim stated that one of the suspects grabbed him and spun him around before demanding all of the victim’s property. The second suspect stood by and simulated a handgun underneath his shirt. The victim, in fear for his life, surrendered his backpack and the contents of his pockets to the suspects. He was then told to run around and run away. The victim complied and after running a short distance, turned to find that the suspects had fled. The officers searched the area for the suspects but were unable to locate them that evening. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150027485)

Robbery:

On January 11th at 1:30 am, a 22 year old victim came to Bayview Station to report that he had been robbed on January 10th at 1:30 am in the area of San Bruno and Felton. The victim stated that he had been checking his cell phone while waiting for the bus when he was suddenly punched and fell to the ground. The victim said that three suspects began removing items from his pockets before fleeing south on San Bruno. The victim sought his own medical assistance immediately after the encounter. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150032296)

Robbery Attempt:

On January 10th at 9:15 am, a 38 year old victim was walking home in the area of Carolina and Coral when he noticed two suspects running towards him. The first suspect that reached him punched the victim in the face. They engaged in a struggle during which the victim managed to get the suspect in a head lock. The second suspect then grabbed the victim and the victim was able to get him into a headlock as well. As the victim held both suspects in head locks, they attempted to bring him to the ground by trying to life his legs. The victim eventually let go of one of the suspects who then ordered the victim to give up his wallet. The victim stated that he did not have a wallet, at which point he let go of the second suspects and both suspects ran off on foot. The officers searched the area for the suspects and located a pair of subjects that matched the description provided at 25th and Pennsylvania. The subjects could not be positively identified that morning and were released after being identified. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150029168)

Robbery:

On January 10th at 12:40 pm, a 24 year old victim was robbed at 26th and Wisconsin. The victim told the responding officers that he had been walking in the area while looking at his phone when a suspect approached him and simulated a handgun underneath his jacket. The suspect demanded that the victim clear the tracking application on the cell phone before handing it over. The victim, fearing for his life, complied. The suspect took the victim’s phone and wallet prior to running off. The officers searched the area for the suspect but were unable to locate him that day. This incident is under investigation. Auto Burglary Arrest:

On January 10th at 2:15 pm, officers responded to a call of an auto burglary that occurred on the 800 block of Terry A Francois. They met with witnesses who pointed out a boosted vehicle and provided the officers with the suspect description as well as that of the getaway vehicle. Officers searching the area spotted the car involved in the auto burglary being driven in the area of Pennsylvania and 22nd. They stopped the car and detained the two occupants, one of which matched the suspect description provided. Stolen property was located inside the car. The suspects were placed under arrest and booked on auto burglary and conspiracy charges. (SFPD Case No. 150029453)

Carjacking:

On January 10th at 6:15 pm, officers responded to a call of a robbery that occurred on the 1300 block of Underwood. They met with the 26 year old victim who stated that he had been working on his car outside of his home when two suspects approached him and began screaming at him. One of the suspects brandished a handgun at the victim while the other punched him in the face. The suspect got into the victim’s vehicle and drove away. The stolen car was located abandoned at Yosemite and Jennings after being involved in a hit and run with a parked vehicle. The officers searched the area for the suspects but were unable to locate them that day. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 140771062)

Armed Robbery:

On January 10th at 8:48 pm, a 59 year old victim was robbed in the area of Bacon and Somerset. She told the responding officers that she had been waiting for the bus when a suspect approached her and grabbed the purse that she had slung over her shoulder. The victim attempted to hold on to the purse but the suspect produced a handgun which he pointed at the victim, causing to her to let go out of fear. The suspect fled on foot. Officers searched the area for the suspect but were unable to locate him that night. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150030369)

Auto Theft Arrest:

On January 10th at 9:15 pm, officers investigating a robbery that had occurred nearby spotted a subject seated in the driver’s seat of a parked U-Haul truck on the 300 block of Goettingen. They approached the subject to inquire if he had possibly seen the suspect in the robbery run by. As one of the officers spoke to the subject, his partner ran a record check on the truck which turned out to have been reported as stolen. The subject was placed under arrest and was booked on auto theft charges at Bayview Station. (SFPD Case No. 150030416)

Robbery:

On January 11th at 1:10 am, two victims, ages 46 and 24, were robbed while leaving a liquor store in the area of 3rd and LaSalle. They told the responding officers that they were approached by three suspects. The victims were attacked by the suspects and were forced to the ground where their pockets were rifled through. Both victims were able to eventually break free and run across the street as the suspects fled on foot. The officers searched the area of the suspect but were unable to locate them that day. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150030858)

Robbery:

On January 11th at 10:30 pm, officers responded to the 1100 block of Palou on a call of a robbery. They met with the 32 year old victim who stated that as he walked to his parked car, a suspect armed with a handgun approached him. The suspect pointed the gun at the victim and demanded his wallet. The victim, scared for his life, handed his wallet over to the suspect who then fled on foot south on Hawes to east on Quesada. The officers searched the area of the suspect but were unable to locate him that night. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 150033294)

Bayview Station holds community meetings with the Captain on the first Tuesday of each month.  The next Community meeting will be on Tuesday, February 3rd, at 6 PM              Bayview Station Community Room   201 Williams Ave. (Cross Street Newhall)
