December 8, 2014 Update

 Stabbing:

On December 6th at 3:30 am, officers responded to the 1100 block of Palou on a call of a stabbing. They located a 37 year old female victim sitting in her stairwell. The victim had two small stab wounds to her calf and elbow. The victim refused to provide any coherent information to the officers regarding what had occurred that morning. She refused any medical attention, stating that she would treat the injuries herself. The officers searched the area for additional victims and possible suspects but were unable to locate any that morning. This incident is under investigation.   (SFPD Case No. 141027298)

Shooting:

On December 6th at 5:15 pm, officers responded to a call of a shooting on the 1800 block of 25th St. They located two male victims who had both suffered gunshot wounds to their lower extremities. The victims were rendered aid at the scene and then transported to SFGH where they received treatment for their injuries. The officers secured the crime scene and preserved all evidence and witness statements. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 141028600)

Armed Robbery:

On December 6th at 10:56 pm, a 27 year old victim was robbed while walking in the area of Felton and University. He told the responding officers that he was approached by two suspects wearing ski masks. One of the suspects was armed with a gun which he pointed at the victim, demanding his cell phone and money. Out of fear for his life, the victim surrendered his wallet and cell phone to the suspects. Both suspects then took off on foot and were last seen getting into a red vehicle that drove off at the high rate of speed. The officers broadcast the suspect vehicle description. A Southern Station unit notified the officers that they had a vehicle, matching the description provided, stopped on the unit block of 6th St. with three subjects aboard. A BB-gun and several ski masks were found inside of the vehicle. These items were seized as evidence. The victim was unable to positively identify the suspects that night. The three suspects were identified and released from the scene pending further investigation. (SFPD Case No. 141029391)

Shots Fired:

On December 7th at 11:23 pm, officers responded on a call of shots fired at Oakdale and Newhall. They located multiple shell casings in the street on the 1600 block of Oakdale as well as a parked vehicle that had been damaged by gunfire. The front window of a Laundromat on the block was also damaged by a bullet. The officers searched the area for any possible victims, suspects and additional damage but were unable to locate any that night. No injuries were reported as a result of this incident. This incident is under investigation. (SFPD Case No. 141032043)
